Monday was a snowy day. We are headed into a Winter Storm sometime Tuesday....it may snow and the wind may blow...or not.
My view from the craft room patio door.
I am working on Christmas Cards. We went to the grocery store because that is what you do when a Winter Storm is forecast. We needed a few things...ham, potatoes, crackers, pudding and fudge bars.
Supper was egg, ham and cheese on an English Muffin with some of Far Guy's delicious fried potatoes!
Minnesota weather: Snowy, High was 18F or -8C Low was 4F or -16C eh!

ahh comfort food...gotta have it...LOL! blizzard of 1978 in boston area predicted as "dusting"....since then the mere mention of snow sends droves to store...
ReplyDeleteStay warm up there! I can't even imagine.
ReplyDeleteThere was snow here yesterday too, and a bigger storm is expected today. Up to 8 inches, though I'm hoping for far less. Not looking forward to shovelling, at all!
ReplyDeleteI read about polar vortex dipping south. We’ll have some cold too, but yours will be blizzard like. At least, you all have less appointments!
ReplyDeleteWe are on the edge of winter storm or just snow. It pays to keep the cupboards full in winter.
ReplyDeleteSupposed to be a winter storm here today (Tuesday). Glad to be snug inside. :)
ReplyDeleteBrrr! We are in the melt/mud time.
ReplyDeleteHa yes, snow: store! I'm glad I had such a store of meat in the freezers, we've used up so much of it as I recover from this knee surgery! I sent the girls shopping today...they'll get what's on the list, but will they find any 50% off steaks? probably not ha. It's very cold here today too, in the teens, and wind, and snow coming later...brrr!
ReplyDeleteYou would not believe what happens in my neck of the woods when freezing weather is in the forecast. The Grocery store shelves get emptied. It's really kinda comical. Your supper sounds good.
ReplyDeleteOf course you NEED fudge bars when a snowstorm is going to happen. I bought ice cream last week when we got our 8 inches! :-) It's actually in the 40's here today. I am looking forward to a bit warmer weather in London. They normally don't have weather as cold as we do.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
49 and sunny here at the moment, a lull between the waves of the atmospheric river coming in off the Pacific. Lots of flooding in the lowlands along the rivers coming out of the Cascade Mts. All of our snow is melting in the mountains.
ReplyDeleteHere at home it's cooking baking week, two down and lots more to go.
Brrrr! I don't miss that Minnesota Winter!
ReplyDeleteBreakfast for supper suits me!
ReplyDeleteHunker down and stay warm.
Yes we will be getting more snow tonight too. I'm still trying to adapt to the cold...for some reason it is affecting me more this year. Maybe because I'm a year older? Hope I can get used to it. Hope you can too. Your dinner sounded good. Stay inside and keep warm. Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteI smiled at your shopping list for the snowstorm. Fudge bars and pudding. Yes, the necessities. For me, it would be hot chocolate and Oreos.
ReplyDeleteLD...That tree needs some lights put on it.
