Noah's dog is named Aurora. She is a Shiba Inu a Japanese hunting dog. She is a little stubborn and stand offish sometimes. She does not like to be petted as much as Sadie. She and Sadie get along okay until Aurora gets crabby.
She has a foxy face.
Noah is moving to a new place next week. It is not fenced so he and Aurora will get some one on one time on the leash outdoors.
Far Side
Noah does have a little fox face. You certainly have your share of pets around, and I am very glad to see any of them, as I am pet deficient. Thanks for sharing your abundance with me, once again. :-)
ReplyDeleteI bet Noah is excited about getting his own abode. His dog probably is too.
ReplyDeleteAurora is a pretty dog! Good luck to Noah in his new place.
ReplyDeletePretty girl. Never heard of this dog breed, but I have heard her name my entire life!
ReplyDeleteIt is a cute looking dog but one I have never heard of before. Even though she is a girl, she looks like a man's dog! Her coat looks thick. Thanks for sharing something new to me! You always have an interesting tidbit for us.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dog! :)
ReplyDeleteCute little face. Interesting their personalities. I wonder if it is the breed or the animal!
ReplyDeleteOur cats are so different. Black cats are a little more assertive, I've read.
What a pretty dog!
ReplyDeleteAurora is a lovely name for a lovely dog.
ReplyDeleteAurora is a very pretty dog! She does have a foxy face.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful dog. Maybe not so sweet though.
ReplyDeleteAurora is a beauty! Some breeds are that way or they are one owner dogs. I bet Noah is excited to get his own place.
ReplyDeleteShe is a pretty dog. I like knowing the name. We have so many breeds that are walked by our place and I do get them confused at times. My wife seems to know most of them. I smile when the big guy walks by with his small little dog. One guy I now as his white westie and he walk by everyday. The man was originally from Minnesota and tells me of his life story of moving here when he was a kid because of a divorce. The westie wears different coats in cold weather.
ReplyDeleteTell Noah we wish him good luck with his new house.
ReplyDeleteIn that first picture I thought Aurora was a little dog, but then when I saw the next picture....I guess she's pretty big. Lots of dogs in and around your life! I know that's what you love. Is the kitty still there?
ReplyDeleteI had to look that breed up to read more about it. What an interesting face and coat. The smallest of the spitz breeds native to Japan.
ReplyDeleteA hunter too and energetic!
Congratulations to Noah for getting his own place.
MMM. I'll try this again. Good luck to Noah and Aurora in their new place.
ReplyDeleteShe is a beauty!
She really does look like a fox! Are the two dogs buddies or is she standoffish to dogs as well?
ReplyDeleteCynthia, They are friends to a point and then she is not a friend to Sadie.
ReplyDeleteShe is fox like. She is on to a new adventure.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see Aurora (that is a relative to the Japanese Akita) but from what I understand they are pretty different in comparison. Hope she likes her new home!
