March

It looks like March will come in like a lamb...above zero temperatures...yeah!!

The streets are in good driving condition.

Far Guy spoke with his sister and her family again yesterday.  She ate supper in the dining room with her family...her first night doing that since she came home from the hospital.  Her Pastor visited with her and she had communion.  She had a list of people she wanted to call, I asked her about that and she said yes she made all her phone calls.

I was busy all day yesterday...cleaned a couple of bathrooms and changed sheets, puppy sat Sadie while crocheting and cooked supper...hamburgers, corn and French fries in the air fryer...a baked potato for me.

We had news that my kids' stepmom died Saturday. It's been a tough year.

  3. I hope when it comes my time, I have the strength and time to make phone calls. My mom avoided that and I think she regretted it when it was too late to correct it.

  4. We are above freezing and in the warm zone! Now we enter into days of mud and mushy gravel roads. March is here and that means spring will be headed our way.

Each day we can talk with our loved ones are days we cherish.

  5. Yaay for warmer temps!!

Glad to hear your sister-in-law was able to join her family, and make her calls. The conversations must have been so very hard, to make and receive.

  6. March is coming in like a lamb here too. I went out to feed the birds this morning without mittens on my hands.

Your SIL is making the most of everyday. I admire her tenacity and strength.

Thank you for sharing the photo of the sunflower.

  7. I think Andy and Jenn are going to miss you two when you go home. A cook, housekeeper, dog trainer, puppy sitter, etc. I love how your family helps each other out whenever you can and that you obviously love each other and don't mind showing it.
I'm glad that Far Guy's sister was well enough for dinner with the family. I know that in the days ahead the memory will mean a lot.
    BLessings and love,
    Betsy

  8. Spring is here too - for a couple of days, before winter returns this weekend. But we'll enjoy it while we can.

  13. The big beautiful sunflower caught my eye. Can't wait to see a few growing in the garden. I've been away from the computer too long...way behind with everything. Sadie sure is a cutie.

  18. Windy here in upstate New York but may be mild by the weekend (with rain). Definitely not sunflower growing weather. I grow sunflowers each year and now the planting will have special significance. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
