Quiet Day

We had a quiet day yesterday, I was very tired so I had a couple of naps...Sadie interrupts every so often because she  has to make sure you are still breathing when she awakens from her naps.

I gathered a few things together for the trip back to our home in the woods. We will start packing the car soon.

Photo of an old home in the area.

Just when the grass is starting to show a hint of green we are forecast to get rain/snow... March weather is unpredictable and fickle.

My Dad is in the hospital, he has a urinary tract infection, he is not well enough or strong enough to go back home at this time, he will be going to a Nursing Care facility for physical therapy so he can get stronger and walk without falling.

  3. March is fickle isn't it?
I sure hope the UTI can be helped and some PT can help him get back on his feet.
    How is your mom doing?

  5. Hope your dad feels better soon. We are getting wet snow this morning. It's sticking to the lawn, but melting on the street and sidewalks. Go away snow!!!

  6. March is indeed fickle. The last two days here were in the teens and low twenties but today it will be in the 40s and 60 by the end of the week and then back to the cold. It's crazy! Sorry to hear about your dad. I hope he has a quick recovery. Enjoy the rest of your week.

  7. Sending lots of good healing thoughts to your Dad. Dave's grandma is back home after 5 weeks in the hospital for a UTI. This was her fifth time in hospital in three years, and she just keeps bouncing back! She turns 94 in May

  8. I'm really sorry to hear about your Dad being unwell. There seems to be so much sickness right now. It's wonderful how both he and your Mom are still able to live in their own home.
I can imagine that you're getting "antsy" to get back to your own home. I've missed the snow stick and other winter reports this year, but it's been fun to hear about life in the city too. Especially Sadie.
Take care my friend. We're back into wintertime here too.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
