Third Shot Day

Far Guy got the 3rd Moderna Vaccination yesterday.  So far he is doing okay.

I have  to schedule mine someday soon...I will need a few days to recover...I heard that there may be a flu/Moderna combo coming out soon.

Grocery pickup was good...they had oranges!

My baby brother and I went to Bingo with our Dad.  My baby brother won...so it was a fun night.

A Hudson...not sure what year...it was a real pretty car.

  1. We have to go to the VA on Monday so I am going to check on that next shot for hubby too. I'm not sure I qualify yet? I just had my first Shingles shot and it kicked my butt for nearly 24 hours!
Hopefully you won't have much of a reaction to the vaccine. But kuddos for getting it taken care of.

  3. I’m not sure I’d want to take a flu/covid combo. My second Covid vax alone was followed by a miserable couple days.
    (Well worth it, though!)

  4. Thinking I might have to schedule a flu shot before the combo is ready. But maybe next year I can get a "two for one"!

  5. I got an email two weeks ago that I qualify for the 3rd pfizer booster...but it's in Spokane! I won't be there so I guess I'll have to wait until they start in Omaha. I'm glad Far Guy is doing well so far.
    Take care.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  6. Glad FarGuy got his booster shot.
Me--I would probably need weeks to recover again.
Hudson--I am not good with cars but don't they have the front seat go back flat like a bed? I seem to recall a struggle with a pushy young man in a Hudson back in the 60s. (I won!)

  7. That is so wonderful that FG has gotten his booster shot. My daughter (respiratory therapist) is hoping their hospital staff gets theirs very soon as the hospital numbers have exploded. I haven't seen any notices around our community yet but I had my first shots in March so I may have to wait awhile yet.

  10. Oooh, I didn't know that they were giving out boosters already. Good deal. You'd better get yours right away too, Connie. Don't wait... can't be too careful. Every time you mention going to bingo, I tell myself that I should get back to it too. It's been years! But I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE playing bingo as did my maternal grandmother before me. ~Andrea xoxoxo

  13. I'm happy to hear that FG got his booster. I've heard we have to wait eight months after our second shot, if so that will be November for us. But we'll get our flu shot long before that. It's fun to see that Hudson!

  15. We didn't have Hudson's in Canada. Some people may have bought the odd one and brought it home to Canada.
