Our 3rd snow wasn’t much, it snowed a little and then melted. The 4th snow was heavy and covered most everything.
leaves are now falling onto the snow
I think it snowed about three inches…I do not have my snowstick in the ground yet…it is on my list of things to do.
It is cold here, there is no sunshine to melt the snow…the roads cleared off nicely…I took my Dad to Bingo everyone cheered for his 92nd birthday and they gave him a new bingo dauber to celebrate! Neither of us bingoed, but my other baby brother showed up with his bride and she bingoed a couple of times. Since we play one wins we all win it was almost a free night out at bingo.
Hope you get the snowstick in before the ground is too frozen.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you all had a fun time at Bingo.
You got more snow than we did. Looks just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGlad your dad made it to bingo this week and also baby brother and bride, too. :)
I like the bright red bird feeders in the snowy setting. Pretty.
ReplyDeleteI bookmarked your blog last year for your lovely writing & images. Somehow I lost track & wandered off. So sorry to hear about Chance, he was beautiful, you must miss him.
ReplyDeletePs. sorry about my deleted comment mess, just wanted to edit.
The snow is pretty, and happy birthday Dad! :-)
ReplyDeleteWow! Look at that snow! It seems so early for so much. Congrats on the bingo win.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
That time of year has arrived. . . I hope it warms and Indian Summer sticks around for a while.
ReplyDeleteThe snowy photos are so peaceful and beautiful. We are getting a light snow this morning but it's melting as fast as it hits the ground, which is OK with me. Glad you were able to get your dad out for bingo. Sounds like you all had a good time.
ReplyDeleteWow! You got the snow!! I hope we don't get any for a spell, there are still crops out (not ours) in the fields to be harvested....and fruit to be picked!
ReplyDeleteA good bingo night all round. Since we are in a long spell of Indian Summer, yay!, the snow pictures, while pretty, just seem so wrong.
ReplyDeleteSnow has become a dirty word to me after living so long in WI. We're having beautiful autumn weather after a week of warm rain. Glad someone won at Bingo.
ReplyDeleteWe had 80s for most of the week, then a sudden shift to 50s. Frost tonight or tomorrow night. Not ready for snow just yet.
ReplyDeleteThat was a generous snow fall for you.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the beginning of Winter in Minnesota!
ReplyDeleteYou had a LOT more than here.
ReplyDeleteWOW, snow already! It is cold here but no snow yet! Summer seemed so short!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn’t seem to be so pretty at this point of time but we had some this morning and I slept through it. Your dad certain appreciates you and others that can share bingo with him. We played bingo at home as kids and used shelled corn for out pieces to lay on our card.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful the snow looks...from a safe distance! ;)
ReplyDeleteI like your family policy at Bingo where if one wins you all win. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteI guess your snow will come and go for a while. Snow and bingo and a birthday boy. Life goes on in Minnesota.
ReplyDeleteTotally not ready for snow! Fortunately we haven't had any yet.
ReplyDeleteI've seen snow reports from out west! It's a bit of a shock, I guess! You know it is coming.... BUT!
ReplyDeleteSNOW~OH, how I miss thee! thank you for always sharing your snow pictures. I watch your weather and I saw it coming. I thought Iowa might get some but it went North of them. We have cold here....so glad I mowed on Thursday it was 65 and beautiful...perfect for working outside and yesterday was cold 50's and wet....same today (Saturday)...very cozy...making soup and might have a fire in the fireplace...listening to Iowa game.....finally it is cool here! What fun to go to Bingo!
