Fall Projects

After several days of warmer weather I still have a Fall list that won’t quit.  Good thing we are supposed to have a warm spell (above freezing during the day) for the next week or so.

We mulched leaves again, Far Guy mulched the wild gardens.  I raked along the garages and mowed…it was a dusty job.  I got the little flower garden cleaned up and worked on some of the solar lights.  Car windows were washed and the car vacuumed out.  An attempt was made to clean up Far Guys garage…

In the evenings I work on Christmas cards, they are coming along nicely.

  2. It rained all day here yesterday but it's supposed to be nice today and high 60's so back outside I'll go. It might be wet but I'll probably work on garage. You 2 work really hard on that yard but it shows...it always looks nice no mater what the season.
It's nice to have something to work on in the evenings.

  3. We are still enjoying above normal temps and sunshine, something we get in the fall before the rains hit. Next Tuesday, we're back to that normal. You and FG are sure busy getting ready for winter. :-)

  5. An "attempt" to clean up the garage.... I like how you put that, as it sums things up nicely! We've got to get to the "attempting" yet, on this homestead. Egads! *haha* Lovingly, Andrea xoxo

  11. Lots of work to do as we race to beat the winter that is coming. I have leaves yet to fall and I will have to rake them so the neighbor guys won’t be so grumbly. I am clearing one garden at a time and only parts of it at a time. Thirty five tulips yet to plant but not today. Your cold air is blasting down the street.

  13. Love your new fall flag! I just bought a plaid shirt like that - oversized so I could wear it as a jacket. :-) I've been having trouble leaving comments, but annonymous seems to work. WHile you are working on Christmas cards in the evening, I am working on Christams knitting. It has snowed twice here today already! goodnightgram

  15. You and Far Guy keep yourselves very busy don’t you? We drove out to the lake this morning to get some shoes that were left in the trailer. It was absolutely gorgeous. We’re enjoying warmer than normal temperatures and blue, blue skies but that is supposed to change next week.
    Blessings always, Betsy

  16. There seems to be a lot that needs doing in Fall. We are still having clear days; I have little M helping me cutting down all the perennials. Our sunny days are coming to an end though so finished or not the rains will arrive.
