Flags and a wreath

I put up some new flags.

Flags for mid may

It was mid May and time for a change!

Wreath by the door

Not quite Thyme to Garden…usually no one plants anything until after Memorial Day.

  2. Eager gardeners around here plant in mid-May and usually end up replanting early June. I guess it's too hard to resist the itch to dig in the soil.

  7. With the weather this weekend I think spring is awhile away! It's been raining since I got here Wednesday night. Sure is pretty green though.

  9. Summer here starting today. The gardeners will be going wild! Usually we can plant well before this weekend which is a long one for us (Victoria Day), but this year has been so cold and wet. I did get some things planted a month or more ago, some of them haven't grown much, but will be harvesting my first arugula for the market tomorrow.

  12. I'm still pretty much on the Memorial Day schedule...I have planted some things but that's because they stop selling plants by Memorial Day around here. They don't even have mulch now! Gee willikers....I was just getting going!
