I walked through the yard looking for spring.
Wild Roses
Double Flowering Plum. I know you have to look real hard…but the buds are there.
Sedum that someone should weed.
Lilac buds
I know it isn’t much, but Spring in Minnesota might finally be here. I haven’t carried my parka away yet. No sense in rushing the season.
We have one Robin who spends most all of his day singing high in a tree. Calling for a mate… I hope she shows up soon. Right now he still sounds hopeful.
Glad you are seeing spring.
ReplyDeleteHope your robin gets lucky. And it amazes me how different it is here: everything is in bloom (three weeks early) and all the leaves are out on the trees. I might walk around today and take pictures of them just for fun. :-)
ReplyDeleteBudding out all over that it a good sign.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to Mr. Robin! I do see your signs of spring - Yeah! Cannot wait to see your lilac blooms.
ReplyDeleteYour photos show that Spring is definitely trying to appear.
ReplyDeleteSoon those buds will all burst open, and bring that first blush of bright green.
ReplyDeleteYAY for SPRING!

It could get up close to 70 today--OMG!! Summer weather! Karma is parked next to the patio door screen. Beautiful sunny day. No wonder the robins are singing. :)
ReplyDeleteAt my house the lilacs have come and gone. Sadly, we had another freeze just as they were getting ready to bloom so not many flowers this year. I am watching the peonies at my next door neighbor's empty house!! He said I can pick them if the house is still for sale!! YaY!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Spring will be busting out very quickly. Wish I could include a photo of the lilacs down the side of our driveway here in Oliver, all in full boom. That Sedum is nicely mulched!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! It's looking like Spring 'up north'! Glad you are finally seeing robins. It's a nice day here, but a little overcast. I'm heading outside to see some buds and rake the pine cones from under the tree.
ReplyDeleteI think you found it! Beautiful robin against that blue sky.
ReplyDeleteYour post today makes me want to go out and do the same. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYour robin is much more than hopeful. He's cheerful. No better soud than the robin in spring.
ReplyDeleteI could come up there and do Spring all over again! Everything is done here. The dogwoods are fading, Spring blooms are long gone like tulips and daffodils and the lilacs and forsythia are long gone too. But the Iris have buds and the clematis is blooming and azaleas so there's some color.
ReplyDeleteGood to see spring is finally popping out there ! Lovely photos . thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteMy mom used to sing a song about a lonely little Robin in the tree by the door. I hope your Robin finds a mate soon.
ReplyDeleteSpring has sprung here. Lilacs, dogwood, tulips, irises and others I've forgotten. Fresh poke greens, asparagus, spring salad foods and the cucumbers are up! Looks like a good start to a productive garden.
ReplyDeleteOh, I forgot! Baby figs are showing along with plums and the blackberries are blooming.
DeleteNo, I'm not rubbing it in...just so thrilled.
I Was just looking at our bubs. Ann:)
