We saw eight deer last night. As far as I know that is as many as I have captured in one photo.
Yes everything is still brown here. We had a nice day about 70 F or 23 C eh! There was a big wind from the south.
The last of the days rays caught the deer nicely. Now if they would only hold still for longer! Total deer in one square mile 12.
Wow! You got a couple of great shots. I clicked on the first photo to enlarge it and the deer showed up beautifully there, too! Wasn't the weather FABULOUS yesterday? Yea!
ReplyDeleteI love the light in the last photo - looks like a greeting card. So happy you enjoyed some warmth! Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love that last picture too. Poppy is trying to turkey hunt and the wind is terrible! Maybe that wind you had yesterday from the south, blew on out of here and up your way! :)
ReplyDeleteYou should have asked the deer to say "cheese". Maybe thy would have all turned around and smiled. That is a lot of deer in one open field. Glad it is finally starting to warm up. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of ticks!
ReplyDeleteWell I sure hope you are getting true spring now- no more nasty weather!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tick laden deer!

Thats a great photo with the last light on the deer in the field. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteWow! An entire herd--LOL!
ReplyDeleteWas so gloriously warm and calm yesterday. Supposed to get warm again today, but the wind gales have returned and it doesn't feel warm at all. 90% chance of rain, it says. That will bring us more green, though! :)
Neat-o! I would love to see that many at one time AND have my camera at hand. I think I would probably mess up the shot (as I so frequently do). Love the light on the field.
ReplyDeleteWhite tails are very flashy with the white tails. We have very few white tails here.
ReplyDeleteI love that evening light for photo taking. Good job on the deer capture, that is a lot in one spot!
ReplyDeleteThose white tails are so fast too...good capture.
ReplyDeleteAren't they just so pretty? Great photo!
ReplyDeleteWe just might reach 23 on Sunday. Then next week a couple of nice days followed by rain.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a shot of eight deer!!
I like your last photo of the deer in the evening light.
ReplyDeleteWe are still very brown here, tho the ground is getting a big greener. We have been seeing a lot of deer around here lately.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure what became of my comment!! The road I travel on has lots of deer crossing. Scares me to death. That is a beautiful picture you captured
ReplyDeleteI like the deer picture in your new header. It sure is brown there! I know that will change, but when? :-)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing deer OFF the road. So many hit here :-/.
ReplyDeleteI remembered this photo and didn't think I had commented on it. It is a good photo of the deer. I assume we still have our herds north of town. The lighting on the deer photo is so great as they do come out in the evening.
