New Baby

My niece Stacey was expecting a baby, since she has four girls we thought she might get another girl.  Instead it was quite a surprise to hear she got a baby boy!  They wanted the baby to be a surprise so they chose not to find out the gender…just like in the olden days!  The baby weighed in at nine pounds and eleven ounces.

The big sisters were all happy…I heard the littlest was momentarily upset because she wanted a little sister.  She is little and got over it quickly!

Baby boy
He looks just perfect to me.  He was getting a bath as we arrived and was screaming a good scream, then when he got dressed and warm he went right back to sleep.

Here he is telling his Mama that he might be a little hungry.

My niece is a very busy new mother with a house full of giggling little girls and from what I saw, the new baby boy can sleep through anything!

It was fun to take some photos to celebrate this long awaited little boy.
Lots of hair
My other baby brother has twelve grands now and it is all tied up…six boys and six girls.

  8. How wonderful to have a boy after 4 beautiful girls. It's nice to have both kinds!
This baby boy is really big! I hear that large babies are easier to care for. But as someone else said, he will have 4 little mothers to help Mama.

I want to send you a big thank you for the nice card I received yesterday. Totally unexpected and so sweet of you to think of me when you have so much going on in your own house. Love the apron picture! Thank you, Karen.
