I am slowly adding new glitter to my bowling ball.
Spray glue works pretty good. I am sure the wind took some of the glitter everywhere!
Minnesota weather: High 78F or 26C Low 47F or 8C. We may get rain starting on Sunday.
What's cooking? Calzones but they are not as easy as our son in law Andy makes them look.
Far Side
Can you imagine the mess you could have had inside? Years ago we had. a presenter for the teacher's back to school Rah-Rah-Rah session. He said you could tell a kindergarten teacher's house because they always had glitter in the carpet. Your comment about glitter everywhere made me think of that! I do have to admit, your ball is pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat is an interesting project. Where do you display the ball? In the garden, perhaps?
ReplyDeleteYes I have a holder for it in a small wild garden
DeleteThat will be very pretty!!
ReplyDeleteWe used to have a restaurant just up the road that made super delicious and HUGE calzones!
ReplyDeleteLife is more fun with a little bling. :-)
ReplyDeleteI have made calzones and the problem I had was that the cheese leaked out . Obviously I don't crimp them enough.
ReplyDelete89 here in the south. Hot. I’m tempted to turn on the air but when I do I leave it on. Will try to wait longer.
DeleteThe bowling ball has special memories I bet. Looks like a difficult endeavor.
Glitter! What a mess it can make but I sure love that bright blue. Calzones sound really good too. I've got a roast in the crock pot for dinner tonight. Severe storms are forecast once again and through Sunday night.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
Nice! I called our local bowling alley and they gave me two retired bowling balls. I kept saying I only needed one for my granddaughter's project, but the owner insisted I take both balls. Brad said he saw "sucker" stamped on my forehead lol.
ReplyDeleteMy granddaughter will have fun glueing shiny flat backed marbles onto her gazing ball :) I plan to try making a shiny foil transfer ball for me at a later date. Need to find the unexpected supplies first!
