The Hummingbirds are as busy as they can be. It is hard to tell how many we have...more than four and a few are quite protective over the feeder.
Fun to watch them come and go.
I mowed the lawn yesterday before it got real warm. We need rain....it was a dusty job.
Minnesota Weather: High 89F or 32C Low was 66F or 19C.
What's cooking...eggs and potatoes.
Aubrey's Surgery went well and she will be coming to her Grandparents soon...they live next door.
Far Side
I never have but a couple of hummingbirds. Speedy recovery to Aubrey.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got the mowing done. I hate it when it’s dusty. Feel like a chicken who took a dust bath. Your weather went from cool to hot.
Wow, 89F! That’s almost the same as us here in Texas. RHill, TX
ReplyDeleteI'm glad her surgery went well. I haven't seen any hummingbirds this spring. Usually they hang around the big pink flowering bush outside our master bathroom window. We had a little rain overnight, but not enough to count for much. Hope we get more over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteWe desperately need rain too. We're expecting some today but not much is expected to fall.
ReplyDeleteI've never been able to attract hummingbirds but they certainly are pretty.
Hummingbirds are very entertaining, especially when they do not want to share.
ReplyDeleteI only have two hummers A male and a female. So sad. I used to have masses of them
ReplyDeleteglad to hear good news....
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a good rain soon.
ReplyDeleteSince we were told to take down our bird feeders (the seeds were making a mess and also they were sprouting on the groundfloor) I've missed the birds. We can have hummingbird feeders (water doesn't make too much of a mess) so this year I thought I'd try it. Not one single hummingbird so far. Guess they marked me off their travel route.
ReplyDeleteGlad the surgery went well!! 89!!! Wow it's a hot May.
ReplyDeleteHummingbirds are fascinating to watch. I see one humming bird a year.
ReplyDeleteGood news for Aubrey! Hope she heals fast!

Glad the surgery went well for Aubrey. I know you'll be seeing her soon. I miss my hummingbird feeds I used to have at the lake. I could hang one on the balcony but it's always so windy there it would probably blow off.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
We're having leftover meatloaf!
ReplyDeleteEveryone's weather is up and down - yikes, we were getting lots of rain and now, suddenly we aren't. Just wind! I'm happy that Aubrey weathered her latest surgery well and has a good place to recuperate.
