We rescued Tilly from the repair shop. The gaskets she needs have been ordered. She needed to come home and go into the garage just incase it rains. She will go back to have the repairs and an oil change soon.
Far Guy replaced my lawn mower battery and fixed a flat tire so I could mow. I dug out my lawn mowing stuff...special long sleeved shirt, red rubber boots, hat, safety glasses and special carrier for my phone. I mowed the wild gardens east of the house...we like to mow it to give the wildflowers a bit of a chance! The grass is turning green after the rain we had earlier this week.
We made pizza for supper.
Minnesota weather: High 55F or 13C low was 35F or 2C.
Far Side
Tilly is so pretty. Big Red is pretty much ready to come home from the paint shop - we are just waiting on the word from the paint guy to come pick her up!
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see Tilly again.
ReplyDeleteSpring is coming even for you!
ReplyDeleteAnother thing you and I share is being head mowers. I wear similar gear. Phone I usually stick in my bar. I once lost it out of my pocket. Lucky the mower didn’t get it so I started putting it in my bra. Only you know who I am so I’m not worried about what your readers think of me. I’m not very fashion aware. I wear a white shirt in the summer when it’s really hot. Long pants too.
ReplyDeleteI have several hats. Most make me look like a Mexican. I can say that too ‘ cause you’re the only one who knows me. 😂😂
Tilly is looking good! Hopefully the parts come in quickly, so she is in tiptop shape for the summer.
ReplyDeleteThat really is quite the car!
ReplyDeleteSpring is going to hit us quickly so there is reason to get lawn mowers ready.
ReplyDeleteHi, Tilly. Good to see you.
ReplyDeleteI used to mow, before I started falling apart. And we do not have a riding mower.
Tilly would definitely need to be in a garage down here right now. We are having storm after storm with lots of big hail. Lots of rain...but I'm not going to complain about that because in a few months we will be begging for rain. Pizza sounds delicious... I like ALL kinds of pizza...
ReplyDeleteWelcome home Tilly! It sounds like a great day at home.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
