Partially Done

I am glad this week is over, yesterday I went to Physical Therapy and then for my Mammogram.

Check something off the freaking list.

Next up an eye appointment, flu vaccination and then covid vaccination.  I will do the vaccinations about a week apart. Then I can say I am ready for the Winter and all tuned up.

Physical Therapy is going well and he says he sees improvement from week to week.  So that is something!

Minnesota weather: High 78F or26C  Low 63F or 18C.

Supper was easy: Chicken enchiladas that were in the freezer!  Yeah for cooking once and eating three times:)

  2. Lots of checking. Now, that eye appointment is an important one! The breast check I like just a little better than colon check.

  4. I’m glad to hear your physical therapy is showing progress, that must feel encouraging! It sounds like you’re really taking good care of yourself with all the checkups and vaccinations — smart to be all ready for winter. And chicken enchiladas from the freezer sound like the perfect reward after such a busy week. Wishing you a restful weekend ahead 💛

Here, Saturday is quite lovely, the sun is shining and white clouds are drifting across the blue sky. Rain is on the way though, and I just hope it holds off until my husband finishes his running race and my laundry is dry

  7. That is a funny cartoon! It's always good to get those annual appointments done, although I'm always on edge until I get that letter saying my mammogram was normal. Hope to get my flu and Covid shots next week.

  8. I love Maxine! She almost always gives me a chuckle.
Good luck with your vaccines. Our provincial website still says that information will be available in the fall...
Glad your PT is going so well. Chicken enchiladas sound delicious.

  12. Funny cartoon. I might be done with mammograms, but apparently I have to have another colonoscopy. :-(
I got my flu shot last week, no reaction. Now our Covid shots are available at our clinic, so maybe next week.
Today we are going to a family wedding, about a two hour drive away.

  14. I love recipes that make enough for me to eat on for days! Much less cleaning up to do that way! Yay for you getting your mammogram...

  16. I had my cardiologist appointment last Friday and my first ever Medicare checkup and annual physical yesterday. I need to get my flu shot and pneumonia shot too but I'm waiting until after our camping trip this week. I always feel yucky after them.
We're still keeping you and Far Guy in our prayers every day. I've been reading your updates but was unable to comment due to technological difficulties. Hopefull that will be better now.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  17. Happy to hear your PT is going well. Sometimes it seems like the progress is minuscule, but it’s not. I have a few appointments to wrap up before winter, too. Vaccines will be scheduled soon. Keep up the good work in PT.

  18. Glad you all doing great and had nice weekend. I have to get my Primary to send in a Rx to Publix so I can get my covid booster; primary doesn't do them and GA requires a Rx to go with 'requirements' for over 65 to get the shots. Otherwise, tough luck ! I have to send reminder through patient portal in fact because I have flu shot scheduled so I could do and get it all over with Friday and really hope they could do both . Something tells me I won't get Rx called in by doc until after the 19th , and I meet all the additional state of GA requirements for over 65 covid booster shot. Oh well. My boss got Covid last week and I know I truly do not want to get it !!!
