Our car must have a mind of its own, as it drives through toll roads and doesn't pay tolls and someone could go to jail if the fines are not paid...WELL come and get me!
Someone wants to collect the money for the internet/tv bill...it is overdue and must be paid immediately. However they have an outlook email address and my internet/tv provider has a different email address. Go figure. They even include one of those helpful links...never open those!
Medicare open season is over however Far Guy gets multiple calls every day from people who say they are with Medicare. I even heard him swear right out loud at one of those people ...
And then there is this...a reminder that I hate this song...a long time ago teenagers would bring their boom boxes in the kitchen and sing to me while I was cooking them supper.
That car has to go to prison, or at the very least a locked up garage when you do not use it. Think of the danger to the community when it drives around on its own :D
ReplyDeleteGood news are good!
Isn't today's technology great? Spam at it's best on every day anymore. We get them too. So annoying. Glad to hear you two are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteScammers are everywhere. I must admit, as convincing as they are starting to get, I'm a bit worried for my future.
ReplyDeleteThose toll dues are pretty funny. I got one saying our truck needed to pay a toll in TX. My Subaru must have visited NJ one day when I wasn't paying attention either.
ReplyDeleteScams!
Hope FG is doing better.
It's so nice that the grands come to check on you both, and walk the dog. We've both been getting those toll road messages too. I guess the scam artists don't realize the closest toll roads are 500+ miles away. LOL
ReplyDeleteYou have awesome grandkids! Glad you are feeling better (and are way smarter than the darned scammers). Wishing Far Guy continued progress to feeling better too.
ReplyDeleteNuisance phone calls are certainly a problem here.
ReplyDeleteAlways good to be vigilant with scammers. They are getting trickier and yet can be way off base. No clue what that song is that you hate, or how it popped up as a reminder. The Cyber monkeys must be playing games.
ReplyDeleteNice to read you are both feeling better & have helpful visitors.
I haven't gotten any of those...yet. Toll roads--OMGosh! And your car is anything but a teenager--lol!
ReplyDeleteI got one once about problems with my bank. I don't click on links. Went to check on my own--no problem at all. I get the medicare stuff in the mail almost every day! I wish these people would do something positive with all that energy. ;)
Toll text message scam. DON't click just delete. I get several calls a day and it tells people they have been to many states and they haven't left their homes. So frustrating, think how successful a scammer could be if they worked in a honest profession.
ReplyDeleteThere seems no end to the creativeness of scammers.
ReplyDeleteHow nice that the "elderly" were checked up on💗.
There’s lots of pits to fall into! Watch our step and our email addresses!
ReplyDeleteOh, I liked that song. I guess I didn't get it blasted at me in the kitchen. :-)
ReplyDeleteScammers can be quite clever, but most aren't. I figure if I ignore something that is actually real, they'll let me know.
I had a toll text scam just this past week and I am so over these spam calls. at least 5 or 6 a day. Sam annoys them by acting like he can’t hear them. lol. they hang up. glad you are feeling better and hoping FG improves quickly .
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for FG to continue to improve. I hate phone scammers and pretty much have blocked them successfully.
ReplyDeleteIsn't a wonderful thing when you can BREATHE again after a cold! I hope Far Guy gets some relief and some rest soon.
ReplyDeleteBless your hearts. Hope both you and far guy will be feeling better soon.
ReplyDeletePhones are getting too big for their britches. Remember the days when land lines were all there was and we could have unlisted numbers?
ReplyDeleteHope you are both feeling as better as can be.
YAY! Breathing through one's nose is HUGE!!!
ReplyDeleteI tell Dave he needs to tell them he's 35 when they call about Medicare. No I didn't receive the anything in the mail. I'm 35 I didn't think I was eligible yet. I get a thanks and your not. Now if it's life insurance I'm 89. When I get a call on the cell I just let it ring. If someone really needs to talk to me they can leave a message.
