Fun! We got to see a Grand and the Greats in between medical appointments. Peach was especially friendly showing me her stick horse and her turtle dolly. She even sat with me for a bit.
Peach is a doll.
Not so fun; I had the MRI and will be seeing my Ortho PA soon to discuss the results. That MRI is not a fun test 25 minutes and nine rock and roll songs...one of which was "I wanna get outta this place if its the last thing I ever do." I had to do some real controlled calming breathing...because I wanted to get out...what if the gals left...what if there was a power outage...what if there was a fire...thank goodness that song was number seven and I was close to getting pulled out. Next time I will not be brave and I shall be in a medical induced coma medicated. I am too old to be brave.
Okay might be fun. My Primary Care Dr is pleased with my blood pressure and I will have some more tests in January.
FUN! Going out for supper with Andy and Jen.
More fun! Sadie! She still loves us.
Fun. We drove back home and voted.
Two three more medical appointments scheduled this week.
Far Side
I've had 3 of those tests and that clacking is nuts! I chose to imagine myself in a space capsule travelling through time. Hubby can't deal with it.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the MRI gives you some results and causes for your issues.
I spent yesterday in doctors offices too. Yawn.
Voted.
I did get something for us to eat at home.
MRIs are no fun, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had such happy things too. :)
I'm sure spending time with Peach is lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteThe MRI creeps me out. I would need to be heavily medicated.
I had a brain MRI in September & you are right they are no fun!
ReplyDeleteI guess thats where the phrase "Pretty as a Peach" comes from... what a cutie...
ReplyDeleteStay strong Lovely Lady... I will keep you in my prayers

Ugh! I got anxious just reading about your MRI!
ReplyDeleteYour Peach really is a doll. I would probably need to be sedated for an MRI too. I had to endure some type of cardiac scan a few years ago - done in a tube like that. It was quiet but that upper "ceiling" was way too close to my face. Controlled breathing and keeping my eyes closed was the only way I got through it.
ReplyDeleteLittle Miss peach is a cutie....I love that she has a stick horse. I just can not do the MRI machine. I had to have a test a few years ago... They put me in the machine and before the lady even made it to her monitor room, I was squeezing the button to get me out. I just couldn't do it. My husband had 3 different MRI test last week...😳. I hope you get some good news on your results. More importantly, I hope you feel better.
ReplyDeleteI love your list. I think Peach is the best "fun". I don't mind MRI's at all. I've had several and I choose my music and then lay there and pray the entire time. In fact, once I fell asleep! I guess that says I'm not a bit claustrophobic! :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd the election is over. Thank goodness!
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
For an MRI you just have to enjoy the ride.
ReplyDeleteMedical appointments definirely do not make the fun list. Glad you had some highlights to the day! That Peach is just so cute!
ReplyDeleteTerry has had several of those and he HATES them!!! I hope you start to feel much better soon
ReplyDeleteI tell them 'No music' and mentally go through my own playlist. The only risk is fingers twitching when I recall Beethoven's piano music.
ReplyDeleteWhat? You didn't get to selsct your own music? I did. John Denver. I sang along in my head since I wasn't supposed to move.
ReplyDeleteI selected Rock and Roll from the 60's:)
DeleteAll the best.
ReplyDeleteThe last time I had an MRI I had a panic attack 3/4 of the way through and had to have a short break to recover before finishing.
ReplyDeleteI have never had an MRI and hope I never get one. It sounds ghastly! But other than that, it sounds like the rest was mostly FUN!
ReplyDeleteI would call your day a full day! Peach is a doll!
ReplyDeleteThe MRI does not sound like an experience I'd want to have. I hope you don't have to have another one ever. GM
ReplyDeleteLD....I hoope the appointments can become less. When having the root canal procedure I did my best to not do what I wanted to do. The surgeon said I did a good job but I really had no choice enduring four or five long needle injections. I wish it all to be better.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, your time in the MRI reminds me of the one time I had one too....I thought of all those things just like you did. ick.
