Snowstick

We finally got the snowstick in place.Welcome flag and snowstick

So far the snowflake on the welcome flag is our only snow.

Snowstick November 13

There it is poised and ready for snow.

For those of you who don’t know, I put a snowstick up every Fall so that I can measure the snow in our yard throughout the Winter.

Yesterday we had just about 60F or 15C eh!  It was a beautiful day. No snow in sight for the next few days either.  So far it has been a wonderfully warm November…one of the best ones I can remember and as far as I am concerned it could stay this way all winter!

  2. This Fall has been gorgeous and much like I remember as a child. Weatherman predicts a storm blowing through midweek. Sigh!

  3. We have just broken records for the warmest November period ever. I did go to the High Country last Thursday and saw plenty of new, fresh snow. I like it up there, and also around your snow stick. :-)

  8. It's been unusually warm in Wyoming also. But I guess the worm is about to turn mid-week and it will be more winter-like. So I'm in a panic to get all my outside chores done! Let's hope the snow stick doesn't get overwhelmed this winter!
