Busy Days

I am tired of Doctor appointments and hospitals.  I hope we are done for a while now.  I think we may have 30 days off now…maybe.  It is always a day of four hours driving and then time spent there. Most days Chance can go along, he likes the ride. Yesterday we were gone eight hours so we left Chance at home.   Luckily Jo came to let Chance outside and walked him around.

My garage is almost back to normal.  Yeah me!

I am getting ready to go to a Crafting Retreat and hope to make some more sympathy cards and our Christmas cards.  I THINK I have a real cool design for the cards and envelopes…we will see.   I am trying a new craft…stamping.

It rained and turned cooler here and the yard is full of leaves again, now I am waiting for them to dry out so I can mulch again. We had gale force winds yesterday so some blew into the woods!

  1. Hoping for your sake that the doctor and hospital appointments are over for the next 30 days (at least). Poor Chance must have missed you when you were gone. The leaves are turning and falling here also. Had a bad rain storm with high winds on Sunday . Lots of fallen branches around. Today, hopefully I can mow/mulch the lawn and leaves. Have a good day.

  2. Sounds like a very long day and hope you get a break now for a good while.
Bob the Border Collie likes to go on rides, too. She is a model citizen in the car (unlike in the house where she barks at everyone and everything) but in this climate we can't take her on errands because it would be too hot to leave her in the car, even for a few minutes. We do take some special Bob rides, tho, which usually end in ice cream and a walk through town. She never barks there either -- only in the house.
I love seeing your fall colors!

  5. Look at your beautiful leaves! It doesn't look like Fall here...yet but it feels like it now! Temps went down to 70's and top at 80...no more 90's! Yay!
A craft retreat sounds like fun. Do you go with your daughter? I try to go to the doctor as little as possible but I realize with Far Guy's illness you have more than your share and there are 2 of you. At least you have company on the drive. Hope all went well.

  9. Medical "tours" are a pain. Even in town it's a bit awkward.

  15. Stamping always looks like so much fun...but with all your crafting talents, you might be bored with it. Not as demanding as carving, I imagine!
