We have a new baby in our family, I have a new great-niece! Her name is Brooke, she has lots of blond hair..I finally got to see her and take some photographs. Tiny babies never cooperate, they always close their eyes or open their mouths just like little birds.
She is grandchild number eight for my brother and his wife. My brother holds a baby easily, often times when a small child is fussing he says "Give me that baby."
Brooke joins her two sisters, Hailey, the one who screamed every time she looked at me until she was about three years old. I have no idea why in the world I scared her half to death, the poor thing would scream bloody murder and shake in fear every time she saw me. She finally grew out of it. Everyone else in the family thought it was pretty funny..except for me and of course poor Hailey.
And Miss Olivia..photogenic little twerp. She was never afraid of me, at least not screaming afraid like her sister.
Congrats on the addition of Brooke! I love all that pretty hair she has and oh, how lucky to have two big sisters. I have four great nieces with the latest just 9 weeks old, but I haven't gotten to hold her yet. Thanks for sharing these beautiful blessings with us.
ReplyDeleteBabies are so precious....What a beautiful family!
ReplyDeleteOh I want to hold her. She looks like cotton candy!

ReplyDeleteThree cuties! Heart stoppers later when they'll be teenagers!
ReplyDeleteBrooke and her sisters are all cuties!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the whole family.
What cuties they all are. I just love that new baby smell. My youngest grandson is 10 weeks old and has lost his new smell. The newest addition of your family is just adorable even if she failed to cooperate with the camera.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your blessings and have a great evening!!!
They are all adorable. Lucky you to have such sweet little girls in the family.
ReplyDeleteThose are some cute kids! Brookes hair reminds me of my grandsons when he was born, it stuck up like that for a whole year! We called him Don King!
ReplyDeleteMy niece use to be afraid of Jack because he was so tall. Once she got over that, he was her favorite uncle.
They are so precious when they are little!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I love Brooke's hair.
ReplyDeleteSunny :)
Such precious photos! My daughter screamed every time she saw my dad until she was about 3...

ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky person you are, to have these beauties in the family and get to watch them grow up. I wonder what it was that scared Hailey so much? Like you said, funny to everybody but the two of you! Glad she outgrew it...
ReplyDeleteI finally got to hold and snuggle with my new great grandson on Saturday who is 2and 1/2 weeks old. How preciouis they are. If they only knew later in life how we snuggled them they would be totally embrassed. Guees what!! I don't really care. I think thats a great grandma's priviledge.I'm so glad you were able to be with and hold your great niece. Many more happy days with your great nieces. lilly
