I have a crochet project that is finished. It has been washed and dried in the dryer. The yarn washes beautifully.
I used Stylecraft Special DK in all shades of purples and beige. I used a 3.5mm hook and the pattern is Study of Reality which was a free pattern on Ravelry.
I learned some new to me stitches with this blanket and I also learned not to go rogue...and when you think there is a problem...stop and re evaluate. The edges of the blanket tend to roll. I can do better...but someone will love this blanket someday.
I had a busy day...some cleaning and dusting happened and some laundry. Far Guy is feeling better...he still has a nagging cough...he sees his Dr next week for a follow up after his hospital stay. He is woodcarving most days.
What's cooking? Ribs and corn on the cob. Yummy!

ReplyDeleteYou are a fiber artist!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is really pretty, especially with that medallion. Hope FG gets rid of that cough soon.
ReplyDeleteSince know nothing about quilting, it must take a very long time to complete a project like this.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful blanket! I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely afghan! And, I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteThat is simply beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI love the blanket. It looks really difficult. I checked out the link you shared and will try this one. I’ll be able to find the pattern again from your comment. Thank you.
ReplyDeletePrayers for farguys cough to get better!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blanket for someone lucky.
That has to be the prettiest afghan that I've ever seen. I love the pattern and the colours!!
ReplyDeleteI must look up why edges roll. One of my fav cardigans ( 100% cotton) has a hem that rolls no matter how I iron it down.
That is some patience and ambition there, it is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is a happy post, and I am happy for you both.
ReplyDeletePurple is my favorite color! Very pretty!! It is good to keep learning.
ReplyDeleteLD....My wife has an allergy cough that just doesn't go away. I hope he can get some relief from his cough.
