Hopeful

Dogs are forever hopeful...seems like they are always optimistic.

They never realize that the stick they have carried from the woods has to be left outside.

Surely it will fit inside?

Maybe someone will come lay down in the snow with me?

Nope not happening.

It snowed most of the day...fine flakes...there is probably 2 or 3 inches of new snow.

Minnesota weather: High 33F or 1C  Low was 29F or -2C eh!  We now have a Winter Storm Warning instead of a Winter Weather Advisory.

Far Guy went to his first April appointment (weekly infusion)...thank goodness we only have 9 appointments in April...practically on vacation. We need a rest after all the March appointments.  I went to Aldi and Hobby Lobby...everyone and their Uncle was in town today...storm shopping would be my guess.

Never give up...Spring is bound to come someday.

  1. Oh! It must be hard to live with all that snow...Spring has sprung here in Texas. It's been warm...80's.
    Hang in there!

Funny - I always get weather warnings and advisories mixed up.

  3. Our grandson Tucker has a black lab and (Maggie the lab) is forever trying to bring a stick into the house...They just don't fit! I thought this was cute seeing the picture of Sadie laying out in snow. I think I've come to the conclusion that we retire in order to have days to go to the doctor.

  4. Sadie is a gem. My daughter's older golden loves to lay outside in the snow too. Hang in there - spring will show up eventually. We're getting rain again today and it's right at 32 degrees so hopefully it won't be slippery when I have to go run some errands later.

  5. Very glad you got your errands done before the storm hits. In addition to the storm, possibly people traffic was higher due to Easter weekend - - and (the biggie around here) it was the beginning of the month which seems to increase traffic. Aldi and Hobby Lobby - - - good, good stores! Sadie is so cute - - even with her muddy feet! Big question - - will she get an Easter basket?!!

  6. Funny Sadie! We could learn a lot from dogs about living in the moment.

  7. Snow, snow, let it snow. People around here would love to get that snowstorm. Living in SD, I got tired of it...LOL! I like your header pictures, they look festive & springy.

  9. It was always great fun watching our golden retriever/yellow lab mix try to figure out how to bring his big stick in through a small doorway! It was equally as funny when he would pick up the only stick available, even it if was barely an inch long, just to show his happiness.

  10. Poor doggie. Not even a short stick is allowed.

  12. Oh dear, I hope you don't get all that snow. We are in an ice storm warning right now. I would rather have snow than ice. Hope Spring comes along soon. diane in northern wis

  13. I ran into Walmart - the parking lot was so full that my husband had to circle after dropping me off. I got what I needed, went to the registers - and no line. Paid and ran out. Who knows what is going on.

  14. Your weather is about the same as ours. The good news is that at this time of the year snow doesn't last long.
