Dermatology

We had Dermatology appointments.  Last year Far Guy's Breast Cancer diagnosis came about through a Dermatology appointment....for what he thought was a cyst. Anyways they are important appointments.

Far Guy got an all clear...see you in six months.

I had two biopsies one on my leg and one on my arm...the one on my arm looks nasty.  We will wait for the biopsy report and go from there.

The best part...going to Kentucky Fried Chicken for the Tuesday special.  So supper was easy peasy:)

Some Minnesota scenery.

Minnesota weather: High 52F or 11C  Low was 35F or 2C

  2. KFC is a pretty popular place around here. I miss it though, since Sam can't have fried foods. I just may have to sneak off and grab me a box of crispy chicken. Thank you Lord for a great report for FG. Praying that your biopsies come back clean and all is good.

  3. I miss having a KFC here in town. It closed several years ago, and now the building is a Wendy's. Hope both of your skin biopsies come back with good results.

  4. Hooray for one good report and prayers for good pathology reports for you!
We used to love going to KFC but it had severely declined in quality. So - - sadly - - no more. They would often not even have any chicken ready to serve at 5 pm many nights. We missed it for a while but have gotten used to its absence in our lives now.

  5. Praying for good results for you and happy, happy for Far Guy. We like KFC too, especially their mashed potatoes. Our favorite fried chicken is at Pizza Ranch. I don't know what they do with it but it is delicious.
    Blessings and love,

  6. When we were dating there was a KFC down by the lake. It even had car hops! We would save up and head up there on a Saturday or Sunday and order a bucket with mashed potatoes and the original gravy and baked beans. Then we would head up to the lake and have a car picnic. I believe that we had to bring our own silverware and that KFC served the baked beans cold which my soon to be husband was not a fan of.
Unfortunately our local KFC has some downfalls.

  7. I wish you all the best in relation to your health. We have several KFC locations here in Montreal, they are known as PFK which is the French standing for Poulet Frit a la Kentucky.

  9. Wishing you clear results from the biopsies.
I haven't been to a KFC for years, but my favorite memory came about when a taxi driver in St. Lucia told me KFC is known in the Caribbean as "keep from cookin'". :)
