Quiet Day

Tuesdays are usually quiet days as Sadie is in Doggie Daycare.  She was happy to see us when she came home.

Far Guy drove me to the grocery store, we picked up a prescription, got gas and a car wash.  The car looks blue again instead of a grey blue.

We made pork chops, rice and green beans for supper.  We made the green beans with bacon and a bit of vinegar just the way the guys will eat them.

Far Guy was a bit hoarse yesterday from the biopsy on Monday.  He says it hurts a bit too.

This is Great Granddaughter Peach's Valentine box. She is going to love it...probably she will jump up and down many times in her excitement!

Minnesota weather: Partly sunny High was 32F or 0C  low was 16F or -9C.

Relaxing moment yesterday...waiting for a train and admiring the art work on the boxcars.

  3. Your supper sound wonderful. I bought pork chops yesterday, so maybe tonight we'll have to do them - with rice, gravy, and a veggie. Yum. Another fantastic Valentine box!!

  5. You all have created some beautiful Valentines Cards Collection Boxes! Is the artwork on the RR cars pictures or graffiti like we see on ours in TN?

  8. oh how adorable is Peache's valentine box. so cute!! I can only imagine how this kind of biopsy would cause FG's throat to be sore. Praying all is good with this recent biopsy.

  11. Peach's valentine box is darling, just like her. Sadie will be lost again when you go home. She thinks you belong with her. I can sympathize with Far Guy. My abdomen is very tender today too. Biopsies aren't much fun. We're having tuna casserole for dinner. One of my comfort foods and should be mild for my insides. No nuts, fiber, etc.
I remember the trains going by at the lake and looking at all of the "art" on the boxcars. Some of it was really, really good.
    Blessings and love,
    Betsy
