Cards and other stuff

I have a container that I had been putting parts of homemade cards in all Summer/Fall.  Some were photos I have taken, some were stamped watercolor images.   There was a bunch of them...I did not count.  One day I coordinated colored paper to frame the images.  The past few days I have assembled them and emptied the box!  Yeah me!  My desk and the dining room table have been a creative mess!

Saturday was a busy day, I had an early morning appointment at the Dentist for yet another new crown. After that we went by Burger King for a biscuit with egg, bacon and cheese.  Then home to do odds and ends all day long...and a nap:)

I worked outside for awhile putting away chairs, rakes etc...bringing the snow shovel to the front door.  Almost all done with that in preparation for Winter.   It will snow sooner or later!

My other baby brother and she who sees robins first stopped by to visit and they brought us some canned venison.  So that was supper along with toast and peaches.  Next week Deer Hunting begins in Minnesota and they are hopeful to get a couple of deer!

Minnesota weather:  High of 40F or 4C Low was 34F or 1C eh!

Oh by the way I am Falling Back...I hate the time change.

  1. Do you have a photo printer or do you get them done somewhere?

  2. If only we had more money, we all could have crafting rooms for our hobbies!

  3. Staying up to late to watch World Series finale and now the time change! I don't know how I'll get through the day without a two hour nap.

  6. Sounds like you have been really busy. Not only me but my body hates the time change. My body does best when time stays the same all year around. I remember those days when I was a child...a long time ago.

  8. I hate the time change also. They need to pick one and stay with it. I worked in my yard a bit yesterday also.

  9. Crafting sure keeps you busy!
Mmmm canned venison! I tried to can meat here with my pressure cooker but my stove thinks its smarter than me and kept turning the heat down so I couldnt maintain the proper PSI. Very frustrating.

  10. I would love to see more of your pretty cards. I can't stand the time change either, it always messes me up so much. I was reading back a bit and I'm so sorry to hear about everything Far Guy has been through this year, but I'm happy to hear the outcome was good. I'm so happy to reconnect with you - we've been blog buddies for a long, long time. Big hugs to you and Far Guy!

  11. Good for you! I finished a hat and scarf for Baby J yesterday. Another pair of socks done too and I'm starting another pair today. I didn't go to church because I ran a fever and ached all over from those darn vaccines. I think I slept 2 hours. Bleh.
Sounds like you're all ready for winter but you'll be long gone before that. At least I hope you don't have to use that shovel!
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  12. Good job on the cards and outdoor chores. Nice to cross things off the list.
Hunting season starts earlier in Saskatchewan. My brother got his elk a couple of weeks ago, and I'll have to post the photo of the NOT a deer that showed up at his blind. :)

  14. Your cards are beautiful.

It’s deer time here too. We had our first frost. Your high of 40 sounds frosty.
