Quiet Day

It was a quiet day on Saturday. I went over to visit my baby brother, his bride, Smudge and Baxter in the afternoon.   Then I had a nap.  We started watching Poldark on Netflix....my kind of show.

Far Guy got the new battery hooked up for Tilly and drove her out of the garage!

We had what is in the freezer meals for supper...I had vegetable beef soup and Far Guy had Jambalaya.

Evening Visitors were next door neighbors Steve and Jo.  Good to see them!

Minnesota Weather; High 55F or 13C  Low was 36 or 2C eh.

  3. It’s cool there. Cooler here today. I think high is about 70. You are settling. I think I need a new battery so I can start like Tilly.

  8. Your mums are beautiful. My yard is gradually fading now. Just too cold for it.

  9. I saw the ads for Poldark, but didn't try it. Maybe that will be something I can get my hubby to watch with me. Hooray for the freezer and for leftovers! Sounds like you had a nice day.

We watched Poldark long ago, when it was an annual series on Masterpiece Theater. Good watching.

  11. Yes I watched Poldark long ago too and enjoyed it. Never liked waiting for the next episode when it came to watching series! So many things to do yet to prep for winter! Ugh I have two skunks that have decided to dig up our yard and bees that for the second time this year have gotten in under the eves and eaten thru my bedroom ceiling. Yellow jackets! It's been expensive and they're still not gone! Grrrr Hopefully you guys are doing better.
