We have 39 Christmas Ornaments finished bagged up and ready to deliver. Hopefully I will get them delivered this week.
Far Guy had his Flu and Covid vaccinations on Monday morning...he had aches, chills and felt rotten most of the day yesterday. I had my Covid booster on Monday ...fever blisters and feeling tired...yuck. I had my Flu vaccination last Friday and slept for about 20 hours off and on....I started to feel chilled and off about 12 hours after the vaccination...but felt better after my long sleep. Cross the miserable things off our list!
The rest of the Christmas Ornaments for 2025 will have to be finished Up North and mailed out before Christmas along with the Christmas Card that is still in my imagination.
I know Halloween comes first...I bought the candy...I will guess that we will get 4 trick or treaters this year.
I am gathering things that I know we will need Up North and putting them on the couch in the living room...like I said progress is slow.
Ornament bags all set to go.
You and FG are nomads.Hope you can remember all you need to take. I must get my shots soon.
ReplyDeleteThankful you both have those vaccines behind you. It is good to be proactive. Y'all have made a lot of progress with the Christmas ornaments. I still need to buy candy...I usually send a few bags over to the home where my niece lives (they have a big halloween trick R'treat). It's finally cool here this morning...in the 40's.
ReplyDeleteYou are making forward progress so that is a win-win as they say. We are back in that mode since our out-of-state company of almost ten days went home. I slept almost two days after that!
ReplyDeleteI'm always impressed by the amazing amount of productivity in your household.
ReplyDeleteLots of ornaments! We will get our Covid and flu shots next week. Time has flown, it seems like you just returned home and you are preparing to leave again.
ReplyDeleteThe flu vaccine knocked me down down a couple of days. Maybe you needed a good rest.
ReplyDeleteI had my flu shot on Monday and actually didn't have any reaction except for a tiny bit of tenderness. The ladies that were doing it at Wally world were so nice! I'll go back to the pharmacy this Friday and have my COVID shot since those folks were so darned pleasant.
ReplyDeleteWe have no little treaters or trixers in our neighborhood. At least you have four. :)
ReplyDeleteSadie will be so happy to see you guys!! :)
ReplyDeleteSlow and steady wins the race! I'm amazed you're already thinking ahead to Christmas, I can barely remember to schedule my upholstery cleaning haha. Cheers to your week!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of organizing, but you are a master at it.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to be doing things that bring pleasure, It helps to drive away problems with needles.
ReplyDeleteWe never get any trick or treater here in the condo. At least that way I don't buy candy that I'll end up eating. I'm trying to be better about that. It sounds like you're well on your way to being ready for the big move up north. I really love that Jen and Andy enjoy having you there with them and Sadie will be happy to have you there with her all day, every day. She's as much your dog as theirs! Good job on the ornaments. I know they're cherished by every single recipient. I know I do the one I won.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
We had our old people evaluation for Medicare yesterday and they were very proud that me managed to schedule our vaccinations all on our own. We experienced the same aches and pains with them, but gosh, that exhaustion! I think you are so ahead of the game. I marvel at all you two accomplish.
ReplyDeleteI was fortunate, as other than a sore arm (my Covid arm) I had no reaction. I'm sorry they affect you both so much. Though one could say, in my case, it is a matter of no sense, no feeling perhaps?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you're looking forward to your time up north, spending time with family, and of course, Sadie!
You certainly have a lot to organize all while feeling the effects of the shots. I hope you both feel better soon.
