Crochet finish

 I finished a shawl.

About time I finished something.  This yarn had been in one of my work bags ...I did a row here and there.

We had a quiet day on Friday, we had many naps throughout the day...it rained in the afternoon.  Far Guy warmed up some Chicken and Wild Rice soup for supper...we made it earlier in the week.  Cook once ...eat twice.

Weather in Minnesota: High was 65F or 19C and the low was 55F or 13C eh!

    1. I started it back in May. A row here and there it is an easy repeat pattern:)

  3. That sounds downright cold to me. We have a similar cooldown after a very hot week. Love the crochet shawl, so pretty.

  4. I love the colors in the finished project. The yarn glistens. When you live alone and say fix a pot of soup…cook once eat 10 times. After about 4, I give to the chickens. I know I could freeze but I usually leave it there a year. The chickens love my cooking.

  5. Very pretty shawl!
We're getting the cooler weather too, it was only 9C/49F when I woke this morning. Rain in the forecast too.

  7. That is beautiful - made me think of a prairie sunset!!! Yay on a finish! You've had a good excuse for not getting to it sooner however. You still have healing to do!

  10. Another gorgeous project piece, Connie. The colors on this shawl are wonderful! And yes....cook once, eat twice. That's our way too. Naps are wonderful, restorative things. Love, Andrea xoxo

    1. Not sure, a smaller person as it is not real large. Our church takes donations of shawls:)

  13. Oh my, I would love to feel a 65-degree day again. We have been in a heat wave since the second week in June. It's like August here. High 90's and humid. Feel like temp here today is 107...and humid! The shawl turned out beautifully!!
