One day I got out my stamping supplies and did some “Thinking of you” cards. It was great fun to stamp, watercolor and use glitter glue. I use watercolor pencils and then a water brush…it practically makes you think you are an artist! Watercolor paper is a must for this project.
I ran out of all ocassion cards with flowers on them so I am in the process of making some of those too.
I still have a glut of paper in my desk so the card making will continue. ( I might be a paper hoarder…but I don’t have to go to town when I need a piece of paper! ) I have not purchased a card in years. The fancy edge is made with a border cutter…it is fun to use. The fancy corner is made with a corner punch…mine happens to be a Fiskers but there are many kinds out there.
My desk is a mess and it will be until I am done with this project.

I like this idea...must give it a try. I say, "Send more cards" with an envelope and stamp ! Less text messaging....
Card sending is becoming a thing of the past - easier to use the computer/smartphone. I personally still send cards for every occasion. I feel it is more personal that way. Wish I was as creative as you are and could make my own. You have a special talent and knack for such things. Have a great weekend.
Your cards are so pretty. Having been the recipient of one, I know how one of your cards lifts our spirits! Have a nice day.
You are an artist for sure! Your cards are beautiful! That overnight storm missed us here in "the cities", but schools are closed further south for sure.
I love making cards. Yours are sure pretty. It gives one a nice feeling to send something made and not bought and carry on a tradition to send cards thru the mail. Hugs, LJ
p.s. Thanks for mentioning Harry and Snowman in your post yesterday. I watched it last night and loved it!! I would rate it the same way you did.
Those are beautiful cards! Very creative! I started the netflix movie Harry & Snowman yesterday but did not finish, Thanks for the recommendation!
I am going to look for some of those edge makers. The edging is beautiful. We had 70 degrees yesterday, a record high. We have had an unusual February, very little snow.
You are multi-talented, how pretty those cards are.
Several of my friends make cards, and I have an edge/border punch to make plain notecards into something a little nicer.
Still snowing lightly after dumping 10+inches of excellent snowman snow. I hope the storm moves on soon.
Beautiful cards! You are so creative.
It's colder here also...complete with sundogs! Winter is still here.
I have those water colour pencils too but I seem to forget to use them. Also have the fancy corner punch which I also neglect to use.
Your cards are lovely!!
Those fancy edges are exquisite...but I can understand why your desk is a mess now!
I was gifted once with a box of your homemade cards, or maybe I won a giveaway, I don't remember now, but I sure did love those cards. I used them (since they were blank inside) for anything I needed one for, and I know you make great ones! Glad to know you're still doing it. :-)
I want to make cards like you make...so pretty. The watercolor pictures are gorgeous...you are an artist for sure! Beautiful cards! I see some art supplies in my future.
Love the lacey edges
