Snow

It rained and then it snowed on Wednesday afternoon…we are stuck in weather that isn’t winter and it isn’t spring…what is it Sprinter or Winting??

snow

I heard that “the cities” and parts of southern Minnesota may have record snowfall in the next few days.  I am glad we are getting missed…I don’t feel left out at all.

We had company yesterday from Davenport North Dakota…old friends.  They brought a picnic lunch and we enjoyed it together.

During our visit Odda came a calling to see Chance.  They hung around outside until Odda’s ride showed up.

Snow Feb 22

It started to snow right after our company left.  I worked on greeting cards for awhile and got sleepy so I settled in on the couch to watch a very interesting documentary on Netflix called Harry & Snowman.  It was excellent and I give it five stars out of five.  I did fall asleep but the beauty of Netflix is that when I woke up I just reversed it to where it was when I got sleepy.  It was about a horse and a man…and yes you need some kleenex toward the end.

My ongoing projects are still ongoing not much progress is being made lately.  I have too many things in the works at one time..a lot going on but nothing FINISHED.

  3. What a wonderful idea to pack a picnic lunch when visiting friends! It is crazy weather as I have the heat on in the morning and tonight I bet I will have to turn on the AC!
I'm aware of Harry and Snowman but did not know there was a documentary of it....awesome! I'll be watching that for sure! Thanks!

  4. I bet you want to take a drive south just close enough to "the cities" to see the hullabaloo that's blowing our way. I cancelled my medical appointment for tomorrow cuz I don't want to drive one-handed in the snowstorm/blizzard/whatever they change it to before it's over. I love a good kleenix film now and then. Thanks for sharing the name of the one you watched.

  5. We just never know if it is still winter or spring lately.
It has been in high 70's all week. They said next week will
be cold and wet.Flowers and birds think winter is over
    at our place.

  7. Steady snow falling this morning. Weather man predicted, "significant snow." I'm just glad the warmer temps recently melted the ice that was blanketing my street.

  8. I don't like the weather you have. we get it at times. It freezes AND THEN YOU HAVE ICE OVER EVERYTHING.

  9. Sounds like a good Netflix show. I really should subscribe to Netflix! I hope we don't get any of that snow. It is 72 here in Kansas today!!

  10. I remember hearing about Snowman when I was a horse-crazy kid. Later I read the book and saw the documentary - what a Cinderella story.
One thing I miss about life on the road is that we can't do Netflix. Heck, I can barely get my blog to open!!
    Happy Springter.

Hope your weather smartens up soon; and ours as well!! We had ice pellets coming down today.

  13. Yep, winter (I rather like Winting) is still not gone from us. We've got a springlike couple of days coming up. Glad to hear you'll miss the worst of the snow. :-)
