Well she made it! Maddie graduated!
This is the card I made for her graduation. That is Maddie and Chance on that rock.
She has decided that she wants to become a Veterinary Technician. She loves animals and has a special rapport with them. It is a career that will fit her well.
She is the graduate on the far right.
There were 323 kids graduating.
It took awhile, all those speakers who like to hear themselves talk….I am certain only a few of those graduating will remember anything…they just want it to be over! And the band, then the orchestra then the choir…it was a bit much. Just hand over the diplomas already!
Here she is getting her diploma.
Congratulations on graduating Maddie, I knew you could do it! We are very proud of you!
Preschool Graduation in 2003
My how time flies.
Congrats to Maddie. Love the card you made and that last photo is so sweet. She's a beautiful girl and I wish her happiness/success.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to the new graduate. K thru 12 is a very long haul! In the card you made: top right pic and bottom left pic...smile is the same! Love it! And I wish her a million more smiles.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful tribute to a beautiful girl. So many adventures ahead of her. Hope she has lots of fun ones.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Maddie! Our daughter-in-law graduated as a Veterinary Technician, but she went back to school in her early 30's.
ReplyDeleteThis is so wonderful! I feel like I almost now Maddie from your posts about her. Congratulations to her and she will be a fantastic vet. The animals will be as pleased as I am right now. :-)
ReplyDeleteGosh it just seems like yesterday she was little girl.

Linda
Kudos to Maddie and best wishes as she works towards her chosen vocation.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card. Congrats to Maddie!!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't even remember any of the speeches from my graduation right afterwards--LOL! I agree--they could shorten everything up considerably.
What a beautiful girl she has always been from the very beginning. Congratulations to Maddie on her graduation. Another milestone!

cats to bottle feed and care for baby rabbits.

ReplyDeleteOops! Our Maddie graduates June 17th. We plan to be there (Yorktown, Va.) if nothing happens, and I will probably cry.
ReplyDeletethey grow up quickly!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for the future for your Maddie. ( Those ceremonies do tend to go on and on and on, don't they!)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to a beautiful young lady and best of luck in her chosen career.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations sweet young lady, you'll make a wonderful veterinary tech. I spent close to thirty five years in the field, and it's a rewarding career choice.

That is a large class!
ReplyDeleteWe were invited to my nephew's daughter's graduation party today but we decided not to go. It's an hour and a half drive, and I decided that attending all of my niece's and nephew's graduations was enough. I will now just wait for my own grandchildren in this next generation.
Congrats ! Well done , such a lovely looking young lady ! Oh good for her my mum was a vets assistant /technician . Lovely photos . Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Maddie! Yes, those speakers can get carried away with themselves, but really...some pomp and circumstance is in order. It is, after all, an accomplishment worthy of taking some time to recognize.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful young woman - both inside and out.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful girl! And from a HUGE class. That would have been a struggle to sit through for sure!!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! She is a beautiful young lady and she will love her career. My youngest granddaughter wants to be a vet and I pray that she will have the opportunity to do just that. Her mother also wanted to be a vet, but she ended up as a nurse. Now she wishes she had gone on to vet school. Aren't those speakers silly? Thinking anyone wants to listen to them drone on and on. Short and sweet- that's how I like it. But no one listens to me! LOL!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations graduate. The card is neat to sum up her years to graduation. I am sure Chance loves all of the grands. I can't believe the size of the class.
ReplyDeleteoh my all grown up ~ remember when the girls were here riding Jack. Best wishes to you Maddie and best of luck in the animal world! Keep on smiling!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful girl! I wanted to be a vet growing up but it wasn't meant to be. Good luck to her in her career. I'm sure she'll love it...I would!
