Our snow is melting!
There are water puddles and mud ..but the snow stick still has snow.
It was pret’ near 50 degrees here yesterday..the snow stick snow will not last long at this rate.
Chance had a good old snow bath!
I will be enjoying the melting for the next week or so because we are forecast to have above normal temperatures..perhaps our weather is springing ahead with the clocks last night:)
You reminded me of that phrase I used to hear, "pert' near" -- it does look like your snow stick is pert' near done. What a strange winter it was!

ReplyDeleteLove the photos of Chance having a snow scrub lol ! We have no snow grass is slowly greening up Spring is here for us now sunny and warm and all things of spring are showing ! Have a great day !
ReplyDeleteDefinitely won't last til the end of the month. That's great! :-)
ReplyDeleteHere, too. Hooray!
ReplyDeleteJava loves to roll in the snow too. Must be something about the long hair. It was too nice of a day yesterday to stay inside, despite my sicklyness. It was good to breathe some fresh air and feel the sunshine.
ReplyDeleteCrazy weather, indeed! We're supposed to be in the 50s and 60s for days! You may be right. May be a long, hot, sticky summer. The museum might be a nice cooler place to work--LOL! ;) Hope you are getting that lollygagging taken care of. :)
ReplyDeleteYour words and pictures have captured the end of an extraordinary winter. The melt makes my yard look like a dirt snow cone right now but I love what it means! Soon the rain will come and rinse it all away. Hooray!
ReplyDeleteMy collies do the same thing, as soon as I let them out they have to roll. Our snow is all gone and we have heavy rain today- but the grass is growing and the flowers are pushing their way up.
ReplyDeleteI will bet that yours is gone before ours...LOL. The farm dogs do the snow bath all the time, well snow and anything else smelly they can find. Oh do they stink.

I am glad to see some ground for you! The joy of spring would not be so great if we did not have the winter.
ReplyDeleteSure was a different winter for you than the last one, wow! Our winter was nothing abnormal, we had a few springy feeling days during the week, and now we are back into rain, rain, rain:(
ReplyDeleteThe great thing about the snow is how clean it keeps Luna:) She loves to roll in it too.
We're brown here......we would almost welcome the moisture.....and THAT snow looks wet!
ReplyDeleteCute pics of Chance enjoying himself! I love your snow stick, too! Hope spring is on its way to you soon! I drive a black car and it is covered in pine pollen!
ReplyDeleteSigh... Ours is just about gone, too [Wisconsin]. I'm counting on high school basketball tournament time to sift another last BIG heap on us, though. (<--I love snow!) It usually does. It's one of the reasons St. Patrick's Day is one of my favourite holidays. (That's right around when it happens.)
ReplyDeleteWe're heading home next Tuesday, hope everything is melted when we get home.
ReplyDeletehate to rain on your party but we will still get some nasty weather. Enjoy the puddles. They will change to solid ice sooner or later.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet....rolling in the snow
ReplyDeleteEven though the winter was mild it's still great to have spring in view. You for the snow bath. Made me smile.
ReplyDeleteOh Chance -- that snow bath looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSun and plus temperatures forecast here too... but I'm still keeping my winter coat out! ;-)
Woohoo....bare ground! Looks like Chance is enjoyin' it down to the last drop there!
ReplyDeleteToday here is in the 70's but yesterday was a cold miserable rainy day. I'm gonna go out and get these fingernails dirty. Sooooo many flower beds to clean!
God bless and have yourself a sun shiny kinda day sweetie!!! :o)
"....wash your hair in snow...." That's me singin' for Chance.
