Another blue blanket

I finished the blanket that was in my work basket.

I needed a new project to put in my work basket.

I fussed and fussed with a new pattern to begin a new project...it was colored hearts...it looked better on paper than it did in reality. The back of that project was so messy looking I would never give it to anyone.  So I frogged it ( ripped it apart).

It is cold here again.

Minnesota weather: High 18F or -8C  Low was 13F or -11C eh!  We have a wind/blowing snow/ice advisory for Tuesday morning.

  1. I felt like what I made using the heart pattern looked nothing like her picture. Warmer here today. Hoping to see the sun.

  2. Sometimes you just have to call it a day on a craft project.

  4. Oh no...I would love to have seen the new pattern before it got frogged. I know you though and if it doesn't look the way you planned, then it's not acceptable. Your work is like pure perfection. I'm kinda like that too. I vision things the way I think they should be and if it doesn't work out, then away it goes. Y'all stay warm...

  5. We were so cold yesterday but today is supposed to be 55. Hopefully a lot of the snow will melt. Love the blanket. You must have a nice little stash of them waiting for babies.
    Blessings and hugs,

  6. It's annoying when a pattern doesn't work out. But like you, I'd rather frog it than give something I don't like to someone else.

  7. Sometimes a project just doesn't work, and I'm glad you gave yourself permission to frog it and start fresh. That's such a soft sweet blue.

  9. Cold day here in Saskatchewan too as it was -11C when I went out earlier. That’s not too bad, but with the wind it was -20C. And me wearing only a hoodie. Brrr.

  10. I hope you weren't too far into the heart blanket before you realized that it wasn't what you wanted. The new blue blanket is quite lovely.
I hope the wind and blowing snow isn't too fierce today.
