In the yarn store...they were having a sale! I went in for four skeins and came out with ten. Uffda.
Here is the green and white to make Hey Mikey a scarf with fringes.
I might have enough yarn for a few days.
A while back Jen mumbled something about...okay now are you hoarding yarn at my house too? Hoarding is such a harsh word...collecting sounds better.
More of that white stuff in the air yesterday...and it is much colder than it was. Dreary November day here in Minnesota. High of 32F or 0C eh!

ReplyDeleteI like the word "collecting" much better too. It's critical to NOT run out of yarn. The kids will love what you knit or crochet for them. My grandmother loved to knit, and would get quite upset when her yarn stash would get a little low. With 16 grandkids, she could make endless mittens, hats, scarves, and sweaters. I actually still have a couple of pair of mittens she made. And I have 2 cardigan sweater she knit for my dad in her final years. All still very wearable, and the sweaters fit me as my dad was a small guy.

Collecting, I like that idea rather than hoarding. Besides you are using up the yarn with the requests from the great grands. :)
Our first snow started last night and is still continuing.

With bad weather coming you need something to do, so buy more wool.
