  2. I remembered how we said we'd never forget. It was on my mind the minute I woke up this morning.

  3. Hard to believe it has already been 24 years. Everyone probably remembers exactly where they were when hearing the news.

  4. I was at my mom's for an early morning visit when this happened. Seems like yesterday. May the Good Lord fill the hearts of those whose loved ones died that day. The ultimate price was paid that day.

  5. In Arkansas we also remember the 120 men, women and children slaughtered at Mountain Meadows, Utah in September 1857. I was with a group of children that horrible day. I will never forget. I had to think of them!

  6. Yes! I will never forget the day. My littlest was 4 years old, son was 14, oldest was 19. All of them happened to be home that day & still sleeping. I woke them up and told them to watch what was unfolding on television, as they were watching history being made. Love, Andrea xoxo

    1. Yes, even here in the Netherlands, I was on my way home from work, and it made a huge impression.
      It stays with me forever.

  13. A very sad day for certain. Sadly, the lessons of that day have not been learned around the world, and the loss of life to conflict continues to rise.
