Our youngest Grandson Adam is headed with his Vex Robotics team the Arctic Knights to The World’s!!! The competition will take place in Louisville Kentucky in late April. It is quite an accomplishment for this young team from a little town in Minnesota. The team is mostly 10th graders.
Four young men and two young ladies.
Adam the tall kid with the shades.
Last week our youngest daughter Jennifer was the recipient of the NISOD award. (National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development) She was nominated by her peers because of her contribution to student learning and success.
Congratulation to Adam and Jennifer on your accomplishments. We are very proud of you!!
Here you can see how focused Jen is…her “boys” not so much. But it is a photo that makes me smile.
Far Guy continues to improve everyday and he is getting stronger. He is walking about 3,000 steps a day. (He was at 6,000 before he got sick.)
Glad to hear Far Guy is regaining strength. Congratulations to Jen and Adam.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Adam and Jennifer!

ReplyDeleteSuch great accomplishments. Congratulations to them all, and thanks for the update on Far Guy's continuing progress towards health. :-)
ReplyDeleteProud of you all. Illness takes the best from us and leaves us to do the best we can with what we have left. Far Guys amazing to come this far with you and Chance by his side every step of the way. You make a great Team!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the Fars! So glad to hear FG is improving and walking again.
ReplyDeleteGood news all over!!!
ReplyDeletefantastic news!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to ALL the winners in your family as you have many! So glad to hear Far Guy is getting stronger. I need to get a fitbit and start counting my steps and walking again. I can't take the girls anymore as they can't do it for as long as I need to. I think that's why I've been putting it off. It won't be the same without them tagging along. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSo glad FarGuy is feeling better and better.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the family members. Wow! :)
Congratulations to Adam and Jennifer! I think it is great the schools have the robotics competitions. I'm so happy to hear Far Guy is doing better. Does he use a fitbit? I had one a year ago and did a good job keeping my steps up then it broke and I got out of the habit. I got a new one Christmas and I was surprised at how difficult it was to get even close to the # of steps I was previously getting. Those fitbit type devices really do help us to be aware of the amount of exercise we are getting.
ReplyDeleteThe informal shots are sometimes the best. You can see it is a close family in that shot and Jen is stuck with all of the guys. The contests like that are so fun for the kids. I am happy for all those steps. When virus bug was hanging heavy around here I couldn’t do the basement stairs. Far Guy has the determination to get the job done. I would find it hard to walk that many steps in the house.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your grands! Glad Far Guy is doing better. Spring is coming....
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Adam and Jennifer. And to Far Guy for making it to 3000 steps!
ReplyDeleteGood news all around. Lots for your family to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteGood going Adam. Much success in the next level.
ReplyDeleteThey sound like good kids. Time for a celebration!
ReplyDeleteSuch talented grands. And YAY for Far Guy!
ReplyDeleteAchievements to be proud of! The family pic made me smile, I can almost imagine what Jennifer is thinking about what is going on behind her :) Way to keep on steppin' there Far Guy!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Adam and Jennifer. That picture makes me smile too. Those are happy boys!
