A Cold

I have a cold.  Sore throat, cough, runny nose and ears that itch.  I came down with it on Thursday night.  Far Guy is showing symptoms too.  We must have picked up some germ at the clinic about 10 days ago.  Bummer.  Rest and plenty of fluids is on our agenda.

  1. I am very sorry you both are sick. Please take care and feel better soon. We have tried to be so careful about germs, but John has a physical on Thursday and we know we will be exposed. Give Chance a hug from us. xoxo

  2. One of the reasons I don't like to go to the hospital for anything unless I'm forced to. Rest and drink plenty of liquids and feel better soon. Love the pretty butterflies.

  4. Stupid Colds! If you get body aches, be sure to get a flu test! I thought I had a cold but it was the flu! Tamiflu helped a lot. Hang in there & rest!

  6. We always catch something when our grandsons visit. We also have been living dangerously helping my wife’s friend who ended up hospitalized from flu. The place where she lived sent in a cleaning crew and fumigated it. We had to go in after that to get things and straighten out everything. The visits to the hospital seem to make me feel uneasy. My wife did catch something through all that but it isn’t too bad compared to what we are hearing about people around us. Maybe our flu shot worked this year.

  10. I hope it is just a cold with that darn flu going around you guys be careful! I think the only reason I stay so healthy is because I'm a hermit! LOL! BTW...when you have time could you tell me that printer you recommended awhile back? Mine won't even print gray scale now. Take care and I hope you both feel better. I love those butterflies!

  11. Tough one. We don't need any flu. Get better rapidly.

  12. Bummer - - a cold can make a person feel more miserable that you would think. Is seems some of us - like me - - have less energy as we age and to get a cold depletes it much, much more.

What gorgeous butterflies! Do get well soon. How awful to go the clinic and then get sick! So sorry to hear it.

  14. Not good. I really dislike going out to anywhere during flu season and cold season and just 'catch everything' season. Hope you do get well soon, both of you. Rest, water, hope you have chicken noodle soup. Hugs.

  15. we were with a group of people today and I thought about what we might be getting exposed to. No one had any obvious symptoms, so who knows. All we can do is wash our hands and hope.
Be careful , and take care.
