Harlow as Luke Skwalker

Little Luke Skywalker

Cowgirl Robin Hood and a Bee the chicken was sleeping

A Cowgirl, Robin Hood and a Bee.  Their sister the chicken was sound asleep in the vehicle.

This group was led by the little old lady who was as cute as she could be.

Old Woman

It was a fun evening.  Chance enjoyed seeing all the kids!  We had enough candy so all is well in our neighborhood!

  1. You are lucky! I love to see the kids in their costumes but we had exactly ... zero. We did deliver a few but too early to see their costumes. Happy November!

  2. Cute photos. I do like that little old lady's get-up/

  3. We didn't even have one, but that might have been because it was pouring down rain and sensible parents probably had the kids stay pretty close to home. :-)

  4. Two here last night. Down considerably from the thirty or so we used to get before our neighborhood turned into mostly old people...:)

  6. Love all your photos of the cute trick or treaters in their costumes. We had a grand total of 8 kids last night, but the weather was horrible (torrential rain) so it's a wonder we had any.

  7. Oh how cute! I do miss having trick or treaters. It is so much fun to see them and hand out candy. Maybe we should sell this place and move to town.

  8. We had one, my granddaughter. Grandson went to a party. It was a very dark and wet and quiet Halloween here.
Your trick-or-treating must start early. It was dark here at 6:00. Today it will be dark at 5:00.

  10. You got a lot of trick or treaters considering you live out in the country, or at least that is my impression of your location. Bet the kids really like the candy they get at the Far house! Love you latest header.

  11. Last year w had more than 40. Last night only 1. Could be many were away for half term? Could be the daddies wanted to stay home for the rugby world cup? Could be it was a Saturday?
    Who knows?
Your visitors obviously had great fun dressing up.

  12. They are all so cute. It was raining very hard here last night so going door to door was pretty much a bust. We had 3 kids. Guess I get to eat lots of candy.

  13. So darling those costumes! Got to love that baby Luke Skywalker! And yes, the old lady...what a hoot she was! My girls love the Trick or Treaters and the kids are never scared of Nitty....just the adults...lol! The rain stopped here and it was a nice afternoon and evening for the kids and I was so glad. Looks like you had nice weather for it too. I remember "snowy and sleety" Halloweens when my kids were young. Great pictures.

  15. Your had a great turnout at your door. A lot of our spooks had painted faces this year.

  16. So cute! Our plans to be out changed last-minute, so we were home but had no candy. We turned out the lights, pulled the blinds, and watched television in the den. Sigh.

  17. You make a fuss over these kids so they really like to come to your house. Kids also like their photos taken.

  18. I'm relieved that Halloween is over. My poor dog was not happy about all the kids but way worse were the firecrackers ( maybe they were something bigger because they caused a big boom each time they went off and they went off until at least 11 P.M.)

  19. You must be a popular spot for trick or treaters to stop at. We didn't have one! Of course, we don't offer to take their photo, either. Maybe that's the ticket...

  20. Cute costumes! I didn't even have one at the new place here. No surprise. I'll know for next year, I guess. Won't feel badly if I go over and help hand out candy at McFamily's. ;)
