  2. Back in the early 80's every winter I wore something similar called "snuggies" under my skirt. Does that count?

  3. We owe a lot to Miss Amelia---Step Ins and Bloomers were the names for underpants when I was a child, and my Mammaw actually wore the real thing.

The most mortifying moment of her life was when the washing machine stopped working, and when the plumber finished and handed her the bill, scrawled across it was "Bloomers in the trap."

  4. I always thought they were undergarments, kind of like mens long johns. My mother told of having to wear long lower underwear under her dress and as soon as she got out of sight of Gramma she would roll them up so no one knew she was wearing them. ;-)

  9. Caught a clip of Lady Gaga's latest music video--porn in my opinion. We've come a long way, but I can't say it has all been good.

  10. That was news to me! Thanks for the info. I rarely wear a skirt anymore - - - just more comfortable in slacks since I am up and own shelving books all day.

  11. PNS has a series portrayed in Enland. One episode that had a woman portray that role, bringing women's pants into being. Woman were pleased and men were puzzled.
