Happy Birthday Jody!

It is my other baby brother's birthday today.   I was nine years old when he was born.

Here he is sitting by his birthday cake when he was 2 years old back in 1962.  Others in the photo are maternal cousins  Dwight, Dean and Tim.

Photo was taken at the farm...I still have that table in the garage...we found it at the dump one day many years ago and rescued it.  The table is grey as are the chairs.  The curtains our Mother sewed ...the fabric was yellow with shades of brown circles.

We went out for a late lunch on Saturday to celebrate Jody's birthday!

Happy Birthday Jody!

  2. Happy Birthday to Jody! Going out to eat to celebrate is always fun - - no cooking or dishes to wash and it is great to be with family who are friends.

  5. That looks like it might be a Formica table. We had a yellow one with matching chairs.
And always at least one calendar on the wall.
    Such cute little guys.

  6. LD...My grandmother was given a grey formica table and chairs in her old age and it made her so happy. She gave up her walnut table with knife cuts in it to me. I still have that table but I sanded it and gave it a great finish. We had the same kind of tables and chairs on the farm as it was a modern table of the 1950s. It was so modern in a old farmhouse. Happy birthday baby brother.
