Slow but sure

I finished a blanket last week.

It is a linen stitch.  I used a 6.5 Crochet hook and 5 skeins of Cozy Occasion Yarn in Ivory.

Jen and Maddie sent a photo of a Mama Sloth with a baby!

Monday activities...laundry, grocery store and cooking.  Biscuits and Gravy along with fruit for supper.

Minnesota weather: Cold!  High 12F or -11C Low was -5F or -21C.  Hopefully yesterday was the end to the cold spell.

  2. 19 degrees this morning here. Supposed to have one more cold morning. I covered the bleeding heart in the front flower bed. Beautiful blanket. Great picture of the sloths.

  3. I love the photo of the sloth. There's something about that animal that just makes me happy. And the blanket you made~~so, so, so nice. I love the stitch you used. Linda, imageisee.blogspot.com

  4. I was delighted to open your post and see St Urho! I grew up in the 'Finnish Triangle" area of New York Mills, Menahga, Sebeka and Wolf Lake. Strong Finnish roots!

  5. I’m sorry I haven’t commented for a few days. Vacation is making me lazy. I did read your post so and I’m sorry to hear about another death in your family. Dennis would love to be there at your house for biscuits and gravy. It’s one of his favorite meals. We just left Buccee’s where we had brisket sandwiches for lunch. Delicious .That blanket is lovely. The linen stitch always looks so nice.
    Blessings and love,
    Betsy
