Onward and forward

 I finished another baby blanket.

Sage Green this time...same old story ...single crochet...6.5 crochet hook and three skeins of Baby Bee Snugs and Kisses yarn.

Started another blanket...using misc colors of yarn...you know from the stash.

I will frog ( rip it ) what I have started...as I was not pleased with the spacing of the pattern.  Plus maybe I should have an idea of how I am going to work out the colors...decisions...decisions.  It will be stripes of different colors that I know for sure!

We finished up #17 and #18 of 22 medical appointments on Thursday.  Come back next week and come back in three months.  So it goes onward and forward.  #19 and #20 happen today (Friday). Next week we finish up the month and the last two appointments before we turn the calendar to April.

  1. Your calendar must look a lot like mine all filled up with doctor appointments. You always do beautiful work with the blankets and this triple colored one will turn out just as pretty.

  4. Do you make your baby blankets a certain size or just until it looks right?

  5. The appts sound like a nightmare of being lost in a corn maze.

I’m going to make a baby blanket out of scraps too. I’m about to finish the stubborn pink one. Then I need to make a granny square one for a fb friend. Everyone wants to pay me but it’s just something I do. If I take pay, it’s a job!

  12. LD....Your post reminded me of a visual memory of my mom in here rocking chair, pulling out yards of yarn because she had made a mistake. The finished works are such great artworks.
