Watercoloring and more

I finished up a bunch of water colorings for cards.   I only have a few more stamped...however I do know where a bunch of stamps are in the craft room.  Possibly I will call this project good and move onto something else.

We had a very quiet day, I cleaned two bathrooms except for the floors...I am still not getting down on my hands and knees to scrub. Maybe one day soon.  I did some laundry and worked on a baby blanket while watching The Closer on Netflix.

Sadie keeps one eye on us all the time.  When she sleeps she lays in front of the front door so we cannot escape.

Her people will return late Sunday night.  Last we heard they were boarding their flight in Cincinnati and that 90% of the flights had been cancelled due to weather.  Jen was visiting a friend in Ohio and Andy was Master of Ceremonies at a Vex Tournament.

We made homemade pizza using a Pillsbury Pizza Dough for supper...just as good as a Pizza Shop.

Only six medical appointments this week. Sure hope it warms up for the appointments on Thursday and Friday!

Another cold day in Minnesota: High -10F or -23C  Low was -20F or -29C eh!

Extreme Cold Warning in effect until Monday, 9:00 AM CST. Source: U.S. National Weather Service

* WHEN...Until 9 AM CST Monday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 45 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

  1. Your cards turned out beautifully!
Well done, the dog! It's really best to stay inside in this cold weather (unless you absolutely have to). Take good care of yourself!

  3. Hope their flight left as scheduled. There sure is a lot of snow in places east. The ice some places in the south is something crazy too. Stay warm!

  4. We once had a dog that would lay in front of the doors like a wrinkled door mat making us physically slide him out of the way to exit whenever he sensed we were going to be leaving him. The flooring under that door never needed oiled or polished!

  5. It is 8 degrees here this morning. Snow has stopped. Our area set a new record for snowfall in a single storm...2 inches more than in the Blizzard of 1978 which shut down I-75 north of us. I have a son and grandson in Massachusetts hoping to get back to Cincinnati by Tuesday or Wednesday.

  10. Oh!! I like that Sadie sleeps in front of the door so you can't leave 💗.
I've never tried that Pillsbury Pizza dough.

  11. I hope your daughter and SIL's flight home wasn't affected by the bad weather. A delay is sort of okay (and expected) while cancellations are just a pain.
Good on Sadie for keeping an eye on you two. Good luck with all of the appointments.

  12. I love that Sadie keeps you trapped inside. She is such a sweetheart. I haven't gone anywhere in this cold except to urgent care yesterday when Dennis made me go. The verdict was bronchitis. He's so tired of hearing me cough nonstop for almost two weeks now. I have an inhaler and antibiotics now so hopefully will begin getting better in time for my next colonoscopy. Oh goodie! Ha!
Stay warm and cozy my friend.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy
