Yesterday the little Grandgirls visited. A baby to cuddle and a almost two year old to .play “eyes, nose, mouth” with and Cee Cee.
I slept quite a bit yesterday. Double maybe triple naps.
Hollyhocks at my parents old place in town.
I will be back when I am able.

Take it easy and recover, no hurry.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have some very sweet grandbabies! 😊
I like the line "slow but sure." You know how to do it by now, right? Sending hugs and prayers.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful that you are surrounded by family as you heal. Those hollyhocks are lovely! And so is the wagon load of flowers.
ReplyDeleteNaps are glorious things, aren't they. Restore, renew, heal, my friend. ~Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteHugs, cuddles and naps...sounds a perfect way to heal!
ReplyDeleteWhen I grow I’ll raise turnips
ReplyDeleteAnd make turnip stew
But now I’m young, I’ll raise hollyhawks
And make hollyhawk tea.

Rest easy! Sip some tea. A better day is on the way.
Rest and enjoy the little ones.
ReplyDeleteKeep healing and get well.
ReplyDeleteThe little ones are healing in themselves. :) :)
ReplyDeleteglad you are enjoying some extra naps. the hollyhocks are so rich in color. 🩷🩷
ReplyDeleteI am so happy you got to rest as much as your body needed without having to feel you needed to be doing something - - - like cooking or laundry, etc. You have some good caretakers in that home. I know that Sadie is loving having someone to nap in the same room with her.
ReplyDeleteSlow but sure is enough for now.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than baby cuddling. You need your naps! It is your body renewing. What lovely hollyhocks.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you were able to see your grand-girls. Good medicine! Naps are great too. I slept in my recliner for over an hour late this afternoon after we finally got home. I'm so glad that you have people who love you to help. Especially Sadie!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Naps are excellent.
ReplyDeleteLD....my brothers hollyhocks in California are in full bloom like that right now. Mine are just starting to sprout up.
ReplyDeleteI remember that picture...your Mom' s flowers were so pretty. Glad you are getting lots of love and cuddles...it helps in the healing process!
