I was out mowing and it rained on me, of course I am not sweet enough to melt. My mower got a good wash as did my hat! So we went to recycle instead.
The storm clouds that rained on me. There was a huge temperature difference between where it rained and where it did not.
Veronica and Salvia are blooming in the wild gardens.
Happy Father's Day to all the Fathers out there, I hope your day is special!

The clouds look amazing!

I love the beauty of your wild garden.
ReplyDeleteFor your neck of the woods, rain is probably welcome. Here we've had enough for this spring.
I love your wild gardens! My perennial bed is becoming a wild garden and is NOT as beautiful as yours! Happy Father's day to your Far Guy.
ReplyDeleteHappy Father's Day to Far Guy! Look at how green it is there! Love the beautiful wild flowers.
ReplyDeleteI hope your Father's Day is special, since you've got at least two of them to celebrate with!
ReplyDeleteHappy Father's Day.
ReplyDeleteHappy Father's Day to Gene! Your flowers are beautiful, Connie!
ReplyDeleteHappy Father's Day to your Dad and Far Guy. I'm missing my dad today and wishing for one more visit and hug.
ReplyDeleteThe salvia and veronica are gorgeous!
the weather gives you all kinds of surprises when you're working outside.
ReplyDeleteOh, you lucky! Got rain! ;)
ReplyDeleteStay cool. Supposed to be over 100 here today.
At least the mower got a wash. :) Lovely wild flowers. I just turned on the ancient a/c, so far so good.
ReplyDeleteHere most of the blooms are yellow and orange. The purple hues are pretty.
ReplyDeleteHope the day was all you hoped for
ReplyDeleteFather’s Day is very quiet around here this year. My husband went to the driving range to hit some balls early this morning before the heat and humidity got too bad. Since then he has been sitting in his chair, watching 10 minutes of this and 5 minutes of that - repeat, repeat. Movies, golf, baseball - and never staying on anything long. And it’s too hot for sitting out watching one of the granddaughters play softball. So I’m thinking he’s bored and restless. LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the wild gardens. My salvia has bloomed once already, but I'm still waiting on the Veronica. I see bloom spikes coming up so it shouldn't be long.
ReplyDeleteI had a good day out for lunch. I will be mowing in the heat in the morning. I like your wild flower garden. My cottage garden is getting to look too much like a wild garden. Need to weed.
ReplyDeleteI know rain is only water, but I detest getting wet in it.
ReplyDeleteI hope your hat dried without shrinking!
Mxx
Water would be welcome here. The heat and suffocating humidity is awful.
ReplyDeleteI hope Far Guy had a great Father's Day. Dennis heard from all three of the kids so he was a happy camper.
Blessings,
Betsy
We had no rain today and the weather was tolerable. So everyone in our neighborhood mowed today for Father's Day! Tomorrow we are back in the high 90's and sweltering.
ReplyDeleteIt's late. It was a busy day with the family over. I hope it was a good Father's Day for FAR gUY ( AND YOU, OF COURSE).
ReplyDeleteHappy day to you! LOL.
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are beautiful!
