Happy Father's Day!

I was out mowing and it rained on me, of course I am not sweet enough to melt.  My mower got a good wash as did my hat!   So we went to recycle instead.

The storm clouds that rained on me.  There was a huge temperature difference between where it rained and where it did not.

Veronica and Salvia are blooming in the wild gardens.

Happy Father's Day to all the Fathers out there, I hope your day is special!

  1. I love the beauty of your wild garden.
For your neck of the woods, rain is probably welcome. Here we've had enough for this spring.

  10. Here most of the blooms are yellow and orange. The purple hues are pretty.

  11. Father’s Day is very quiet around here this year. My husband went to the driving range to hit some balls early this morning before the heat and humidity got too bad. Since then he has been sitting in his chair, watching 10 minutes of this and 5 minutes of that - repeat, repeat. Movies, golf, baseball - and never staying on anything long. And it’s too hot for sitting out watching one of the granddaughters play softball. So I’m thinking he’s bored and restless. LOL

  12. Love the wild gardens. My salvia has bloomed once already, but I'm still waiting on the Veronica. I see bloom spikes coming up so it shouldn't be long.

  13. I had a good day out for lunch. I will be mowing in the heat in the morning. I like your wild flower garden. My cottage garden is getting to look too much like a wild garden. Need to weed.

  14. I know rain is only water, but I detest getting wet in it.
I hope your hat dried without shrinking!

  15. Water would be welcome here. The heat and suffocating humidity is awful.
I hope Far Guy had a great Father's Day. Dennis heard from all three of the kids so he was a happy camper.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  16. We had no rain today and the weather was tolerable. So everyone in our neighborhood mowed today for Father's Day! Tomorrow we are back in the high 90's and sweltering.
