Card Club

This week I went to Card Club with Jen.  I knew two other gals from scrapbooking so it was a good get away.

I made a couple of these cards and a Valentine's Day card.

I ordered some new stamps so I am anxious to try them out.  I colored on cards one day this week whilst watching Sadie.  It was a day when she was real sleepy.  We are working on the command "down" she is silly as sometimes she remains down and expects a treat for that too!  She comes in the doggy door now...this week maybe she will figure out the out part.

Far Guy is about the same...not much better but no worse either.

  1. We babysat a Yorkshire terrier of a friends years ago. It wanted a treat every waking moment. I am glad you could get out to card club.

  4. That looks like so much fun. Lovely cards! I really think the social aspect of crafting is one of the best parts. And it's certainly the part we have probably missed the most since this pandemic.

  5. I keep meaning to do a sketch, but I can't get going! It must help to have a club.
    So sorry about Far Guy!
And good luck to the pup figuring it all out!

Wishing Far Guy better health, slowly but surely.

  7. There's a lot to be said for "not worse". We're old enough to know that, aren't we. I know I sure am! Your family is lucky to have you there, helping to train puppy. ~Andrea xoxo

  9. I guess Sadie has more reason to come in than get out so far.
We have a cat door in our garage from when we had a cat. Our borrowed cat likes to come in the garage when the door is open, so we have the cat door set so he can get out, but not in. It works.

  10. Not much worse is good too. I like your cards and think it would be so much fun to have a group to craft with. Sadie sounds like a hoot...just like our Zoey. Puppies can be so stubborn.
    Blessings,

  11. A card club sounds like fun. I use a lot of my scrapbooking stuff to make cards. // Sadie wanting a treat for every move she makes could add up in amount of treats lol. // Keeping FG covered in prayers! And you for handling everything! Blessings to you both!

  12. Pretty cards and a great saying! I really want to make cards too as I used to love to color. I need stamps. I have some blank cards and envelopes and I have gel pens...with glitter too and watercolor pencils. Anything else I need? I need another project like a hole in my head! LOL!

  14. Oh what lovely cards. A card club sounds like a lot of fun trying out new ideas and products--whoohoo!
Once she gets the hang of in and out the dog door life should get much easier. ;)
