Older

Happy Birthday to me!  Yes I am older now.

It has been a fairly crazy week.  Sad, happy, frustrating ...you name it and we have gone through the emotions.

I enjoyed some quiet time in a garden, some time shopping at Hobby Lobby and quiet evenings with the love of my life.
Raindrops on White Roses  September 17 2019
Some people have dropped the ball this week and that is very discouraging for both of us.  Shit Stuff happens.

It keeps raining, then it rains some more.

  5. Happy Birthday, Connie! Thinking of you today and hope you have a great birthday. Lots of rain and humidity here. Poor dehumidifier is working overtime trying to keep the basement dry.

  6. Happy Birthday! I celebrated on Wednesday. If you call celebrating up at the crack of dawn to fix separate breakfasts for grandchildren. Put one on the bus, run to the grocery store with a toddler in tow, get a call from a stranded daughter sitting in a vehicle that stopped in the middle of a street with her toddler and newborn strapped in the back seat. Sped home to put stuff in frig, sped to neighboring town where two garbage men pushed her on side street. Loaded them in our "school bus", husband got car moved to her house, while I took everyone home for a quick lunch before two toddlers went to preschool, she nursed baby, picked up the toddlers from preschool, ran to son's to grab a 1st grader off a school bus, dropped off two children, fed everyone else, and ended my evening sitting in a driveway while my husband repaired the car and changed the oil. Thursday people asked me how I celebrated - but, you know, everything end well so I am celebrating. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! Wishing you a calm day.

  30. "Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with thing, these are a few of my favorite things.
When the dog bites, when the bee stings, When I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember my favorite things, and then I don't feel so sad."
I hope this works for you too.
