Christmas Flags

I finally got the flags changed.  Chance supervised.

Flag by wheel

It keeps spitting snow…all week…it is very dreary weather.

Lionel Flag

The Lionel flag is fun to look at so bright and colorful.

Far Guy had a Doctors appointment in Fargo yesterday, the roads were wet and sloppy but not icy.  We stopped at a Dollar General Store and Menards…we are the last of the big shoppers. Chance enjoyed the outing more than we did.

Chance was exhausted when we got home…so we all had a long nap…and woke up to more snow.

Soon I must make a list and check it twice…but not just yet

  5. We used to look at naps as exceptions to most days but now they are a scheduled part - for at least 30 minutes - to an hour. I used to go full speed ahead to finish the list but don't worry about it so much anymore. If it gets done, it's a cherry on top of the sundae. It not, you can still enjoy what you've got. I hate to be at this point but it is what it is.
We bloggers do enjoy watching your progress and viewing your decorations a lot!

  6. I understand exhaustion...I'm there...too much going on and still more things to do. You all rest. I hate winter.

  7. Glad the roads weren't slippery. Love the Christmas flag. Happy that Chance made the trip, too. A nap for all sounds well deserved. ;)

  8. Good news in this post, and there is a gentle spirit about it.
Lists every day here, but I am actually taking a late morning break!

  9. I am really far behind this year for sure. I love the Lionel flag...it is bright and cheery. I have just a little tiny bit of embroidery to go on giraffes and they'll be done but the annual collectible ornaments and baked goods may be a bit late! LOL! Glad you had good weather to Fargo at least. I'm done with docs until January 3 unless the weather's bad then I won't go. Not sure if anyone is coming...I'm not sure I can afford to feed everyone with a new hot water heater looming in the not so distant future! LOL! Love your header too!
