This is a food sculpture that was at the Fair last summer. I thought is was very clever.
The food to be donated to the Food Shelter spells out.

Green Valley makes the best better
The Green Valley Live Wires made this Food Sculpture called “Food for Thought.”
Way to go kids! I know I enjoyed 4-H and I bet these kids do too.
I don't get the point of that "Food for Thought" sculpture. I did note that all the brand names were visible except for the cans that made the "pillars". I wonder if anyone else besides me shelves their cans and other food packages with the labels to the front? I find it easier to find what I what on the shelf when arranging them this way. Same in the refrigerator. Can see what I want at a glance.
ReplyDeleteHi Shirley, It was just a clever way to make a sculpture out of food to donate to the Food Shelf
DeleteThanks for explanation!
DeleteClever! We are a three generation 4-H family, soon to be a fourth. I loved it, my kids loved it, learned so much, and had so much fun. It's a great program.
ReplyDeleteWe are a 4-H family, too. I was leader of a sewing group. My daughter helped with a dog and pet group for many years. Now she is a judge at the Ohio State Fair 4-H dog show. Her children have lots of good memories from their 4-H days.
ReplyDelete4-H was fun in the small town where I grew up. I learned to sew and many wonderful women were leaders.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see the 4H until you "spelled it out". Now I get it.
ReplyDeleteI was in 4-H too in rural Oregon.
Never was in 4-H. Metropolitan area--just didn't push 4-H. More girl scouts and boy scouts. Wasn't in that, either. My mother wasn't a fan of driving us kids anywhere. ;)
ReplyDeleteSome of my grands on in 4-H. This is very clever!
ReplyDeleteI loved it. So delightful and sweet. :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't get the 2 B Frank, but saw the 4-H clearly. This is neat.
ReplyDelete2-pack snack pack on left top, b circled on the beets, and FRANK's sauerkraut. Does that help?
DeleteFollow the yarn and see what is circled!
DeleteSame as Henny Penny's comment.
ReplyDeleteClever! I didn't get to be in 4H, but I always check them out at county fairs and the state fair.
ReplyDeleteI had to read Cynthia's comment before I finally 'got it'....I am geting slow in my old age! Clever kids!
ReplyDeleteIt is a good organization that my older brothers participated when I was a kid. They young people my age were too few so 4H was dropped. Our school has started agriculture classes and FFA for its very first time. A young woman is the instructor and she does such a great job with he kids.
