My brothers had a busy day, first they set up a Stingray Tree Tent. I heard they didn’t read the instructions. My older brother is collecting “cool toys”…I asked him what was next on the list a few weeks ago…this is it. His grands are gonna love it!
It is a way cool tent. You hop on the bottom part and then open the zippered trap door and go “upstairs.” It is anchored to three trees.
Far Guy is inside.
You can lay on either level, the top one being the one with no bugs.
We have skeeters now.
After a quick trip to town for steaks, they got some landscape bricks from us and built a firepit to cook up the steaks. I made potato salad. The meal was rounded out with other salads, fruit and Smores. My parents and my Aunt Anna joined us…then they all went fishing and we came home to fed Chance and woodcarve until the skeeters drove us inside.
That looks/sounds like fun! Enjoy your Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThat's a unique tent!
ReplyDeleteOn the second look I noticed that it isn't red tape attached to the trees and tent. I wondered how people could be in the second story? It looks like the old guys enjoyed the tent too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day you had and poor Chance didn't get to go!
ReplyDeleteThat "tree tent" is a new one for me, very strange looking. But i see that it can hold at least one full grown man. The kids will love it.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like the brothers provided fun for everyone.
That is the coolest tent I've ever seen
ReplyDeleteI've never seen anything like it! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is COOL!
ReplyDeleteClever guys! I'd be "hanging out" in the top part, too. Mosquitos lurv me! I wonder if it's hard to find a campsite with perfectly spaced trees to hang the tent from.
ReplyDeleteExcept for the pesky skeeters it sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I BET you have skeeters now! 'Tis the season ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome tent! Yes...the 'grands' will love it! It sounded like a great time for all....wish I could have been there!
ReplyDeleteThe difference between men and boys is the size of their toys ;-)
